    • Disclosed is a vehicle front structure, which comprises a bumper fascia 2, a lower shroud member 3b, a subframe 5 including a first shock-absorbing module 7, and a second shock-absorbing module 10 having a stiffness less than that of the first shock-absorbing module 7. A subframe body 6 is formed in an approximately rectangular shape and disposed on a rear side of the lower shroud member 3b. The first shock-absorbing module 7 includes an energy-absorbing section 8, 8 and a beam member 9. The energy-absorbing section 8, 8 has a configuration which extends frontwardly from respective front end regions of the subframe body 6 located on laterally-opposite sides thereof, along respective opposite lateral surfaces of the lower shroud member 3b, and the beam member 9 has a configuration bridging between respective front ends of the energy-absorbing section 8, 8, at a height position approximately equal to or adjacent to that of a lower edge of the lower shroud member 3b. The second shock-absorbing module 10 has a bulging portion 10a which covers at least a part of a front surface of the beam member 9. The vehicle front structure of the present invention can ensure sufficient pedestrian protection performance by means of enhancing impact energy-absorbing capacity, while achieving enhanced repairability in the event of a low-impact collision.

    • A bumper face is comprised of an upper portion and a lower portion. An opening portion is formed between the upper and lower portions. A bumper mesh is comprised of a mesh body located at the opening portion and a bumper face lower reinforcing portion that is located inside of the lower portion of the bumper face and connected to a lower end of the lower portion. The bumper mesh includes an extension portion that extends rearward from a lower end of the bumper face lower reinforcing portion and is connected to the lower portion of the shroud. Accordingly, the rearward movement of the bumper face lower reinforcing portion can be surely prevented, without increasing the number of parts, and thereby the prevention of dragging of a pedestrian can be improved.

    • The present invention relates to a vehicle front body structure comprising a cross-sectionally closed front side frame installed to extend in a front-rear direction of a vehicle. The front side frame has a depressed section formed in a lower region of a vehicle-width directional inner wall surface portion thereof in such a manner as to be depressed toward a vehicle-width directional outward side. The front side frame is internally provided with a reinforcing member extending over a front-rear directional dimension of the depressed section. An upper portion of the reinforcing member is joined to at least one of a vehicle-width directional intermediate region of an upper wall portion of the front side frame and an area of the upper wall portion located outward side of the intermediate region, and a lateral portion of the reinforcing member is joined to a wall surface portion corresponding to the depressed section.
