    • New decorating materials suitable for the decoration of ceramic materials comprise a lead-free glass flux and at least one pigment. The glass flux comprises two lead-free glass compositions. One of the two glass compositions comprises, in weight percent, SiO2: 45 to 60%, Al2O3: 5 to 20%, B2O3: 15 to 30%, and one or more alkali metal oxides: 5 to 10%, provided that Li2O is contained in an amount of 2% or more, with the proviso that the total amount of said oxides is 90% or more of the total weight of the composition. The other of the two glass compositions comprises, in weight percent, SiO2: 60 to 75%, Al203: 5 to 20%, at least one of MgO, CaO, ZnO: 5 to 20% in total, and one or more alkali metal oxides: 0.5 to 5%, provided that Li2O is contained in an amount of 0.5% or more, with the proviso that the total amount of said oxides is 90% or more of the total weight of the composition.

    • According to one embodiment, a server device connected to a client device by way of a network includes a receiving unit, a first detecting unit, a cycle changing unit, a second detecting unit, and a transmitting unit. The receiving unit receives operation data through the network. The first detecting unit detects, from among operation events based on the received operation data, a specific operation event. The cycle changing unit, when the specific operation event is detected, changes a change detection cycle for screen data that is updated in an application in accordance with the specific operation event from a first cycle to a second cycle that is longer than the first cycle. The second detecting unit detects a change in the screen data in the second cycle. The transmitting unit transmits the screen data, in which the change is detected, to the client device.

    • An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes a first circuit which creates image data on the basis of print job data, a second circuit which causes a printing unit to print an image on the basis of the image data created by the first circuit and is different from the first circuit, and a storage capable of being accessed by the first circuit and the second circuit, respectively. Additionally, when data is transferred in the first circuit and the second circuit, one circuit writes the data in the storage, and the other circuit reads out the data to transfer the data, thereby executing printing of an image.
