    • A liquid jet recording head includes a liquid path member having a plurality of liquid flow paths, each of the liquid flow paths being filled with a recording liquid, an orifice being formed at an end of each of the liquid flow paths, and a heater base member having a plurality of heater members and a plurality of radiator members. The heater base member is connected to the liquid path member, each of the heater members having a heater portion, the heater portion generating heat in accordance with a power supplied to it. Each of the radiator members is thermally coupled to the heater portion of one of the heater members so that the amount of heat transmitted from the heater portion to the recording liquid on the heater portion changes in a predetermined direction. When a power is supplied to the heater portion, a bubble is generated in the recording liquid and located at an area on the heater portion, the area having a size corresponding to the power supplied to the heater portion, the bubble causing a recording liquid droplet to be jetted from the orifice.

    • A bubble jet printer head comprises a base plate, an ink chamber provided on the phase plate, a device for supplying ink to the ink chamber, an ink passage provided on the base plate from the ink chamber to an orifice at a front end, and a heating element at the ink passage for heating the ink to form a bubble.     • A liquid jet recording head which is used for generating bubbles in a writing liquid of a liquid chamber and discharging droplets of the writing liquid to a recording sheet in an ink-jet printer. The liquid jet recording head includes an orifice from which the writing liquid is discharged, a liquid discharge path leading to the orifice, the orifice communicating with the liquid chamber. The liquid jet recording head further includes a plurality of energy generating elements for generating energy to produce the bubbles in the writing liquid, the plurality of energy generating elements being provided within the liquid chamber and corresponding to a single orifice. Each of the energy generating elements has an energy transmitting surface which is approximately perpendicular to the liquid discharge path, and one or more combinations of the energy generating elements which are independently driven by the drive control mechanism to allow gradation recording on the recording sheet.

    • A magnetization reversal device includes a ferromagnetic 12 body which is provided in an interconnection of a non-ferromagnetic dot 11 so that a part or a whole of the ferromagnetic dot is three-dimensionally buried in the interconnection of said non-ferromagnetic dot, and a spin injection source 13 which generates a spin-polarized pure spin current without a flow of charges, and which is provided in the interconnection of the non-ferromagnetic dot 11 to be in contact therewith so that the interconnection of the non-ferromagnetic dot serves as a common electrode, and the pure spin current flows into the ferromagnetic dot 2 through the interconnection of the non-magnetic body by the spin injection source 13 due to a diffusion current, to thereby reverse magnetization of the ferromagnetic dot 12. By injecting the pure spin current, using this planar structure, it is possible to easily carry out the magnetization reversal of the ferromagnetic dot 12 even if it is a thick film ferromagnetic dot without being subjected to limitation of a spin diffusion length.
