    • A nonreciprocal circuit device having a circuit element on a dielectric substrate providing at least part of a low-pass filter, the nonreciprocal circuit device having less interference and irregular operation caused by spurious radiation, and in addition, with reduced insertion loss. A lumped constant isolator (an example of a nonreciprocal circuit device) includes a magnet provided for applying a DC magnetic field to a magnetic assembly, which in turn has multiple intersecting central electrodes provided adjacent to a ferrite body. A dielectric substrate is disposed in between the permanent magnet and the magnetic assembly. An inductor forming part of a &pgr;-type low-pass filter is provided as an example of a circuit element on the dielectric substrate, a dielectric layer or film being disposed between the dielectric substrate and the magnet.

    • A nonreciprocal circuit device requires less layout space when single-board capacitors are used, and meets demands for a smaller and lighter configuration. An isolator (nonreciprocal circuit device) comprises a ferrite, a permanent magnet applying a direct current magnetic field to the ferrite, a plurality of central electrodes respectively having ports disposed on the ferrite and a single-based matching capacitor with capacitor electrodes formed on both surfaces of a dielectric substrate such that the capacitor electrodes are opposed to each other and sandwich the dielectric substrate. In various embodiments, the permanent magnet and/or; the ferrite has a square shape and the capacitor electrodes of the matching capacitors are arranged at an angle of 60 to 90 degrees with respect a mounting surface and the matching capacitors are disposed so as to surround the sides of the ferrite.

    • A nonreciprocal circuit device which can achieve miniaturization and cost reduction by increasing attenuation outside a passband and greatly decreasing the occurrence of extraneous radiation emissions. The nonreciprocal circuit device comprises: a magnetic circuit comprising a permanent magnet disposed in a yoke; a magnetic member; a magnetic assembly disposed in the magnetic circuit and having a plurality of central conductors disposed on the magnetic member so as to mutually intersect; a plurality of matching capacitors connected respectively between a port of each of the central conductors and a ground terminal; a resin case containing the magnetic assembly and the matching capacitors and having an input/output terminal and said ground terminal; and a spacer for stably supporting at least the magnetic assembly and the matching capacitors in the case; wherein the spacer includes a filter inductor and a filter capacitor; the filter inductor is connected between said port of one of the central conductors and an input/output terminal corresponding to the port; the filter capacitor is connected between said input/output terminal and said ground; whereby a low-pass filter is formed by the filter inductor, the filter capacitor, and the matching capacitor.
