摘要： An air intake device of an internal combustion engine which is capable of enhancing the air intake efficiency and reducing the size is provided. The internal combustion engine includes a cylinder head 4, an intake manifold 6 provided at a longitudinal side surface of the cylinder head, and a head cover 5 provided on the cylinder head 4. The air intake device of the internal combustion engine includes an air cleaner 9 including an upper casing 11 and a lower casing 10 detachably coupled to each other and incorporating a filter element 12, an atmospheric air introduction pipe 14 for introducing air to the air cleaner, and an intake pipe 15 extending from the air cleaner to the intake manifold. The air cleaner is provided at an end of the head cover in a direction of the crank axis so that the lower casing of the air cleaner vertically corresponds to the head cover. The atmospheric air introduction pipe is arranged above the head cover to extend along an upper surface of the head cover in the direction of the crank axis, whereas the intake pipe is arranged to extend along the upper surface of the head cover toward the intake manifold without overlapping the atmospheric air introduction pipe.

摘要： A process for controlling the coke balance as well as the size of coke particles within a fluidized bed in the range adapted for continuous operation of a heavy residual oil cracking apparatus, wherein thermal cracking of heavy residual oil is performed under fluidization of coke particles and steam, which comprises classifying one portion of the coke particles withdrawn from the fluidized bed into coarse particles and fine particles by means of a pneumatic classifier, and after the size of said coarse particles have been reduced by combustion, returning them to the fluidized bed along with said fine particles.

摘要： A light emitting apparatus including a plurality of light emitting devices for different colors and having a simple structure with small variations in luminous brightness of each of the light emitting devices for the different colors is provided, and electronic equipment provided with such a light emitting apparatus is also provided. The light emitting apparatus is configured into a display apparatus 10 which comprises: a TFT circuit board (counter substrate) 20; red light emitting devices 1R provided on the TFT circuit board 20 and emitting a light of a red luminescent color (R); green light emitting devices 1G provided on the TFT circuit board 20 and emitting a light of a green luminescent color (G); and blue light emitting devices 1B provided on the TFT circuit board 20 and emitting a light of a blue luminescent color (B); and wherein roughness is formed on an interface between a hole transport layer 4 and a red light emitting layer 5R in each of the red light emitting devices 1R, while no roughness is formed on an interfaces between a hole transport layer and a light emitting layer in each of the green light emitting devices 1G and the blue light emitting devices 1B. With these structures, it is possible to make the luminous brightness in each of the light emitting devices 1R, 1G and 1B for the respective colors substantially equal to each other when substantially the same voltage is applied thereto.

摘要： In the process of thermally cracking a heavy hydrocarbon oil by feeding said oil into a fluidized bed reactor as a high-velocity atomized gas stream by blowing said oil therein from a gas-mixing type nozzle along with an atomizing gas and carrying out the thermal cracking of the oil at above 500.degree. C., the improvement which comprises blowing in an inert gas to the eddying part formed in the environs of said atomized gas stream in said fluidized bed reactor thereby blocking the formation of eddies to thus prevent the accumulation of coke deposits on the outside wall of said nozzle and the walls of the fluidized bed reactor in the vicinity of said nozzle.
