摘要： The present invention provides an electroconductive endless belt that has a good melt stability during the molding of the belt as well as an excellent durability and surface properties.The electroconductive endless belt used for image forming apparatuses contains a thermoplastic polyester resin as a main component, to which a bromine-type flame retardant, an antimony compound and an aromatic carbodiimide compound are added. The thermoplastic polyester resin is preferably a polybutylene terephthalate resin. Preferably, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer is contained as the resin component.

摘要： A cylindrical base for a photosensitive drum composed of a conductive resin composition containing a resin base material and a conductive material mainly containing carbon black, on which base a solvent-using photosensitive layer is directly formed, is characterized in that the resin base material mainly contains a mixed resin wherein (A) a polyester resin and (B) a polycarbonate resin is blended at a ratio (weight ratio) of (A)/(B)=50/50 to 90/10. The base for a photosensitive drum is excellent in chemical resistance, formability, dimensional accuracy, and adhesion to the photosensitive layer, while being excellent in dimensional stability. A photosensitive drum using such a base exhibits good printing performance and excellent durability.

A conductive endless belt 100 is used as a transfer/transport conductive endless belt for a tandem system in which the conductive endless belt is circularly driven by a drive member so as to transport a recording medium held by the belt through electrostatic attraction to four differing image forming bodies, in which the toner images are sequentially transferred onto the recording medium. The conductive endless belt 100 is composed of a belt base 101 having thereon a resin layer 102, the resin layer 102 containing an ultraviolet or electron beam curable resin. The resin layer 102 preferably contains a conductive agent, specifically carbon black.
