摘要： According to one embodiment, a nonvolatile semiconductor memory device comprises a first memory block and a second memory block, and a control circuit. In read operation, when a read target block is the first memory block, the control circuit determines whether the first memory block is single-level or multi-level according to a first flag, and stores a first determination result thereof. While the read target block is the first memory block, the control circuit reads the first memory block as single-level or multi-level according to the first determination result. When the read target block is changed from the first memory block to the second memory block, the control circuit erases the first determination result.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a removable information sheet includes: forming a toner image on a recording medium; applying an energy-ray-curable pressure-sensitive composition precursor onto the medium to form an energy-ray-curable pressure-sensitive composition precursor layer; irradiating, with an energy ray, the medium to cure the layer and form an energy-ray-curable pressure-sensitive composition; and attaching faces with the composition and pressure-bonding the faces. A region size of a toner-image flat part is 200 μm or less in the image, which is determined by a measurement method including: defining a site at a depth of 2 μm or more from a surface of a solid part of the image as a recess; defining a site other than the recess as the flat part; acquiring and binarizing a micrograph of the solid part; drawing circles out of contact with the recess; and defining a largest circle diameter as the size of the flat part.

摘要： An improved image forming apparatus includes an image bearer, a nip forming member, a transfer power source, and a controller. The controller switches a transfer mode between a first mode to transfer the toner image onto a first type sheet having a surface smoothness higher than a surface smoothness of a second type sheet and a second mode to transfer the toner image onto the second type sheet. The controller controls the transfer power source to output the transfer bias having an opposite-peak duty of greater than or equal to 50% that is a duty on the side of the opposite-peak value in the first mode. The controller controls the transfer power source to output the transfer bias having an opposite-peak duty of less than 50%, which is different from the opposite-peak duty of the first mode, in the second mode.

摘要： In a sensor device which detects pressure variations owing to displacements of a body surface of a subject by respiration through variations of the output impedance of a piezoelectric vibrator, the pressure variations owing to displacements can be more efficiently transmitted to the piezoelectric vibrator. The sensor device, attached to a subject's body surface and detecting displacements of the body surface accompanying respiration of the subject, comprises a contact piece having a contact surface which contacts the body surface when the sensor device is attached to the body surface; a displacement-signal convertor which is connected with the contact piece and converts the displacements of the body surface into electrical signals; and an outputting device which outputs the electrical signals to an external unit; wherein the contact surface of the contact piece is a curved surface projecting outward in a direction from its periphery to its center.

摘要： A semiconductor memory device includes a memory cell array, a power source circuit, a sense amplifier, a control circuit, and a processor. The memory cell array includes a nonvolatile memory cell. The power source circuit includes a first register and generates a voltage. The sense amplifier includes a second register, reads from the memory cell and amplifies the read data. The control circuit includes a third register and controls operations of the power source circuit and the sense amplifier. The processor controls the operations of the power source circuit, the sense amplifier and the control circuit by giving an instruction to the first to third registers. The control circuit decodes the instruction received at the third register so as to control the power source circuit and the sense amplifier directly based on a result of decoding.
