SOLUTION: The following processes are reciprocally repeated; a process of supplying warmed sludge S to a filtration chamber 2C by pressure, filtering the sludge while supplying a warmed fluid F to a fluid chamber 2D to fill the fluid chamber 2D with the fluid and to keep the inner pressure of the fluid chamber 2D higher than that of the filtration chamber 2C, and pressing the object to be dewatered in the filtration chamber 2C by a diaphragm 2E by the resultant pressure difference and the other process of discharging the warmed fluid in the fluid chamber 2D to the outside to lower the inner pressure of the fluid chamber 2D to be lower than that of the filtration chamber 2C and further supplying warmed sludge S to the filtration chamber 2C while turning the diaphragm 2E back to the original point by the pressure difference. Then, the supply of warmed sludge S is stopped and while a warmed fluid F being supplied to the fluid chamber 2D by pressure as to keep the inner pressure of the fluid chamber 2D at a prescribed pressure, the warmed liquid in the fluid chamber 2D is discharged to carry out the pressing process by the diaphragm by the inner pressure of the fluid chamber 2D.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously dehydrate and filter and to obtain high dehydration efficiency when difficult-to-filter substances are dehydrated and filtered by applying an appropriate combination of dehydration, water injection, and air supply to a material to be treated on a continuously traveling filter cloth. CONSTITUTION:The endless filter cloth 3 is supported with many intermediate rolls 1 and traveled in one direction by a filter cloth driving drum 2. The material 5 to be treated on the filter cloth is temporarily vacuum-filtered to form cake. The vacuum is turned off, the cake is directly agitated and crushed, water and a solvent are added, hence the combined water between substances is made free along with the water contained in the cake. Besides, compressed air is supplied to the material 5 to be treated in a non-vacuum stage to promote the separation of the blocks or the granular bodies of the cake in cooperation with agitation, and the filtration resistance in the succeeding filtration is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To filter difficult-to-filter materials of every kind with high dehydration efficiency by passing a material to be filtered on the horizontal part of a filter cloth alternately through a vacuum part, the primary and the secondary vibrating part and efficiently using the vibration energy for the fluidization of cake. CONSTITUTION:The material 37 to be filtered on the horizontal part 3a of the filter cloth 3 is passed alternately through the vacuum part 20 formed with a vacuum tray 21, the primary vibrating part 30 formed with a vibrating tray 26 to exert external force on the material 37 to be filtered and the secondary vibrating part 32 formed with a vertically movable weight 35. Consequently, since the vibration energy can be efficiently used to fluidize the material 37 to be filtered, the material can be dehydrated until the thixotropic characteristic is ceased in the series of dehydrations. Moreover, energy is saved and efficiency is high in comparison with the dehydration effect in a conventional filter press and the device is applicable for the dehydration and filtration of difficult-to-filter materials over a wide range.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent cakes from producing cracks, by interposing a net to the middle of the thickness direction of the cake on a filter cloth in vacuum filtration.
      CONSTITUTION: Firstly, a driving drum 2 is rotated to evacuate a vacuum box 12. Next, a slurry to be filtered is poured at a prescribed rate onto the holding side 11b of the horizontal surface 11a of a filter cloth 11. The poured slurry is sucked and dehydrated to form a cake layer 27 on the surface 11a. As the feeding rate of slurry is adjusted so that the thickness of the cake layer 27 is larger than a gap between the cloth 11 and a net 16, the net 16 enters in the layer 27 to move parallelly with the cloth 11. In this case, the net 16 acts on the layer 27 at the same role as that of a iron rod in a reinforced concrete, then the cake layer 27 is reinforced by the net 16, and the crack of cake is never produced even after the sucking dehydration is advanced.
