摘要： PURPOSE:To remarkably decrease the parts remaining without being coated and to drastically shorten the time required for removing a coating material so as to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION:A slider 22 which is moved back and forth by a rodless cylinder 27 is provided on a jig body 21 provided in a robot and one end of a bar-shaped member 23 which is sectionally circular or approximately circular is supported to this slider 22. A cleaning device 24 having a scraper 36 and a resilient porous member 35 consisting of sponge, cloth, paper, etc., is disposed in the front part of the jig body 21. The cover parts (hoods, truck lids) of automobiles are opened and closed by extending the bar-shaped member 23 and the rear surface of these cover parts is coated; thereafter, the bar-shaped member 23 is retracted into the jig body 21 and the coating material sticking to the peripheral surface thereof is removed by the scraper 36 and the porous member 35.

CONSTITUTION:Sealing material is applied to at least one of a plurality of members connected to each other and in different positions by directing only a nozzle 32 of a sealing device 4 to a sealing region of said member in reference to a work having no reference surface for a guide 46. Then the guide 46 is caused to follow for the copying process of the nozzle 32 in reference to a work having a reference surface for the guide 46 and in this manner, the sealing material is applied. Further, an airless tip 15 for spraying is provided integrally with a nozzle tip 14, and the sealing material is applied from the nozzle 32 in desired bead width using a spray gun. As a result, the sealing material can be sprayed with adequate precision and efficiency.

CONSTITUTION:A sealer 1 in a tank, being a viscous fluid is sucked into a constant-capacity type pump 3 through a piping 2, and transferred by pressure and supplied to an applying gun 5 through a hose 4. This pump 3 is driven by a servomotor 6, and the motor 6, etc., are connected to a control unit 10. Also, a pressure sensor 12 of the sealer 1 is attached into the hose 4, a detecting signal is sent to said control unit 10, and by an on/off control signal from this unit, a solenoid valve 17 is operated, and the applying gun 5 is driven through an air hose 18 from an air source 15. In this state, when the applying gun 5 is in an off-state, pressure of the sealer is detected 12, it is compared with a supply pressure which has been stored at the time of the previous on-state, being a reference supply pressure, and a discharge pressure of the pump 3 is controlled so that they coincide with each other.
