Then, after the hood 16 is adsorbed onto the vacuum cup 28 by opening the valve of a vacuum apparatus, the turning arm 20 is turned clockwise, then the hood 16 is opened smoothly, drawing the equal circular locus to the turning arm 20, since the hood 16 is positioned on the same line to the turning center-line of the turning arm 20.

Hot air blown from a torch 76 is blasted to the seal member projected from the sealing gun 16 to fuse the seal member which is therefore welded along a seal line.

    • PURPOSE:To secure the precision of a sealing robot by performing the coating of a sealing material to both the inside of the front part and the inside of the rear part of an automobile body by means of the sealing robot provided to the side of the automobile body.     • PURPOSE:To restore the original state of a nozzle tip after the elimination of nozzle clogging by providing a sensor to detect the nozzle clogging from the oscillation generated during spraying of a coating material to a gun body and connecting a step motor thereto. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to a spray gun, more particularly to a spray gun for spraying various coating materials such as paint, in which a microphone 20 or the like of the sensor for detecting the nozzle clogging is fixed at the prescribed point of the gun body 1 and the electric signal based on the oscillation picked up by microphone is processed and is electrically discriminated by a control device connected thereto via a lead wire 21. The step motor 16 is then run backward so that the flow passage for the coating material is reversed in the forward and backward directions. The matter which is the cause for the nozzle clogging is thus discharged. The step motor 16 is thereafter rotated in the backward direction by which the nozzle tip is reset to the original forward rotating condition. The nozzle clogging is thus automatically and quickly processed.
