      SOLUTION: When an own vehicle 30 entering an intersection is detected trying to turn left, a radar 14 mounted on the vehicle 30 is reoriented to shift an area between dashed lines, which is a normal detection range of the radar 14 on the vehicle 30, by a predetermined angle θ to an area enclosed by dotted lines. The predetermined angle θ is set at a value that allows the radar shift by the angle to bring the radar detection range covering a major part of a crosswalk 60A.
