摘要： The ferrite/stainless steel weld material of the invention contains the following constituents: 0.03% by weight or less of carbon, 1.00% by weight or less of silicon, 1.00% by weight or less of manganese, 16.0 to 21.0% by weight of chromium, 0.30 to 0.80% by weight of niobium, 0.30 to 0.80% by weight of copper and 0.025% by weight or less of nitrogen, the remainder being iron. The ferrite/stainless steel weld material of the invention gives good weldability not only in the welding of stainless steels of the same type, but also in the welding of stainless steels of different types. In addition, the welding steel of the invention has good oxidation resistance, good workability and good mechanical properties.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance characteristic by applying austenitizing heating and holding to a high alloy cast iron, cooling repidly said cast iron, and repeating by plural times the heat treastment for controlling carbide's shape at a specified temp. range, then applying low temp. heat treatmemt for strain removal. CONSTITUTION:The molten bath of the high alloy cast iron consisting of by weight 0.5-4.0% C, 0.1-2.0% Si, 0.5-35.0% Cr, 0.05-20.0% W, 0.03-10.0% V, 0.5-15.0% Mo, 1.0-10.0% Co and the balance >=10% Fe is cast in mold at 1,600-1,550 deg.C to manufacture a roughly molded material. This is heated at 900-1,250 deg.C for 1-50hr, austenitizing treated and cooled rapidly to room temp. by water. Next, the carbide shape controlling heat treatment in which heating at 650-800 deg.C for 0.5-10hr and rapid cooling thereafter are performed, is repeated by 1-5 times. Further, said material is heated at 100-250 deg.C for 0.5-5hr and subjected to low temp. strain removal heat treatment to manufacture the high alloy cast iron having superior wear resistance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture spheroidal graphite cast iron with high strength and toughness by austempering spheroidal graphite cast iron and forming a mixed structure consisting of semi-austenite, bainite and martensite by surface working. CONSTITUTION:Spheroidal graphite cast iron is austempered by heating at 800- 950 deg.C austenitizing temp. for 0.5-3hr and quenching to 350-450 deg.C. By the austempering, a mixed structure consisting of about 10-70vol% residual semi- austenite which causes martensitic transformation by working and the balance bainite or bainite and martensite is formed. Surface working is then carried out by cutting, shot peening or other method to cause martensitic transformation. Part of the structure is converted into martensite, the residual compressive stress is increased, and the fatigue strength is remarkably improved by work hardening, thus obtaining spheroidal graphite cast iron with high strength and toughness.

The impact strength of the spheroidal graphite cast iron is increased, and the cast iron is very practical especially as a material for automotive parts.
