    • PURPOSE:To eliminate uneven wear and damage further the generation of disorder, by providing plural rotary dressers to be arranged spacing a predetermined distance and setting peripheral surface grinding wheel sides of the dressers so as to form almost the same projection figure to the peripheral surface shape of a grinding wheel so that plural abrasive surfaces are corrected by one time operation. CONSTITUTION:A device, which provides rotary dressers 5a, 5b successively spacing a predetermined distance to be arranged in a direction of the peripheral tangent A of a grinding wheel 10, sets a peripheral surface grinding wheel side, when it is projected in the direction of the tangent A, of these dressers so as to form almost the same shape to the peripheral surface shape of the grinding wheel 10. And the device, if the grinding wheel 10 is moved as shown by an arrow head B in the drawing, first corrects one abrasive surface 10b by the rotary dresser 5b next the other abrasive surface by the dresser 5a. Accordingly, the device enables the plural abrasive surfaces of the grinding wheel 10 to be corrected by one time operation while prevents the rotary dressers 5a, 5b from unevenly wearing, and damage in the peripheral surface and the generation of disorder can be eliminated by exchanging or correcting only the dressers 5a, 5b.

    • PURPOSE:To make highly accurate dressing at an acute angle and accuracy retension attainable, by depositing rectangular sectional abrasive grains of a top side angle each being smaller than that of a furrowlike convex section alternately on both sides on the top of a furrowlike projecting part. CONSTITUTION:In each of abrasive grains, an angle at the side of a top part 14a is formed into an acute angle being smaller than that at the side of a top part 12a of a furrowlike convex part 12 of a dresser body 11, and height from the top part 14a is formed to be higher than that from the tip part 12a of the furrowlike convex part 12. In addition, a bae part 14b and a side part 14c are set up in the convex part 12 in the state that they are embedded in the furrowlike convex part 12, while another side 14d is exposed alternately to each of sides 12b and 12c, and the tip part 14a is situated on the top part 12a. Therefore, dressing for a grinding wheel is accurately performable at an acute angle and in addition, since the base part 14b of each abrasive grain 14 and the side part 14c are embedded in the furrowlike convex part 12, holding force of each abrasive grain is large enough, whereby a drop of each abrasive grain is kept back and the specified dressing accuracy is maintainable for a long time.

    • PURPOSE:To enable partial exchange of a part where wear is progressed, by a method wherein the outer periphery part of a dresser is axially divided, dresser members are classified into a dresser member for rough dressing and a dresser member for finish dressing, and the dresser members are combined together in a multilayer manner. CONSTITUTION:When a grinding stone G is dressed as a dresser D is traversed in an axial direction A, dressing is effected in a way that the dresser is progressed in a manner that diamond grinding grains 1b of a dresser member 3 for rough dressing crush grinding grains 5 on the grinding stone G side and diamond grains 1a of a dresser member 2 for finish dressing smooth the grains 5 on the crushed grinding stone G side. Dressing of the grinding stone G is affected in a manner described above, and when wear of the dresser member 3 for rough dressing is progressed due to the use for a long time, a fastening bolt 4 is unfastened, the existing dresser member 3 for rough dressing is removed from the dresser member 2 for finish dressing and is replaced with a new dress member, and dressing is performed in succession.
