    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel spindle device in a grinder, improved in productive efficiency without synergistically increasing fluctuation of dynamic pressure and grinding resistance between a workpiece and each of grinding wheels, and improved in working precision in assembling a plurality of the grinding wheels on the grinding surfaces of which inclined grooves are formed, on wheel spindles.
      SOLUTION: This wheel spindle device to install a plurality of the grinding wheels 10 on the wheel spindles 32 axially supported on a wheel spindle stock of the grinder is constituted so that a standard position 40 in the rotating direction is provided on a core of the grinding wheel, and a plurality of the inclined grooves 20 provided inclined against the circumferential direction are formed in positions the phases of which are respectively dislocated for each of the grinding wheels 10 against the standard position on grinding surfaces of the grinding wheels.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a grindwheel having sloping grooves formed without deteriorating a force for holding superabrasive particles to a grinding surface on the grinding surface at low costs. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing a grindwheel, a plurality of grindwheel chips comprising an abrasive layer including superabrasive particles and a base layer, are bonded on a core mounted to a grindwheel shaft axially supported rotatably and drivably around a rotary axial line on a grindwheel platform of a grinder, and a workpiece whose grinding surface formed on the abrasive layer is rotataby and drivably supported by a workpiece supporting device of the grinder is brought into contact at a grinding point. This method includes: a grindwheel chip formation step for forming grindwheel chips before baking by inclining both ends in a grindwheel peripheral direction against the grindwheel peripheral direction; a baking step for baking the grindwheel chips before baking so as to form the baked grindwheel chips; and an adhesion step for bonding a plurality of the baked grindwheel chips to the core so that sloping grooves are formed between the adjacent abrasive layers.
