    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a metal mesh to be included into the center or a somewhat inner side of the front surface and back surface of a panel, in the inclusion of a metal mesh into a foamed glass panel to obtain a foamed glass composite panel. SOLUTION: This process for producing a composite panel composed of a foamed glass material and a single-stage metal mesh comprises a step to finely pulverize a glass raw material 3, a step to fill the powdery raw material and a metal mesh 2 in a mold 4, a step to foam the raw material by heating the mold, a step to slowly cool the heated mold and a step to separate the foamed glass composite material from the mold. In the above case, the metal mesh can be positioned at the center of the panel by positioning the mesh in the mold at a position slightly higher than the center of the raw material. In the case of including the metal mesh in two stages, the metal meshes are positioned above and below the raw material to obtain a composite panel containing the metal meshes at positions slightly depressed from the front surface and the back surface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve good drainage, and make hard to cause sagging by providing a slant surface inwardly inclined toward the inner circumference of an opening top surface, and forming a coating film consisting of two layers of a tin oxide film of a lower layer and a polyethylene film of a surface layer. SOLUTION: In glass vessel for storage of liquid, the opening top surface 2 of a glass bottle 1 is made in substantial horizontal plane, and a slope surface 3 inclined toward the inside of the inner circumference. The slope surface 3 is of a width of half or more the wall thickness of the uppermost part of the opening; however, it is preferable to be a width of at least 30% or more of the wall thickness. Thus, a coating film 7 consisting of two layers of a tin oxide film of a lower part layer and a polyethylene film of a surface layer is formed in the vicinity of the opening of a glass bottle including the top surface 2 and slope surface 3. In this manner, the coating film 7 is provided on both the top surface 2 and the slope surface 3 so as to impart water repelling, property so that a liquid content poured returns into the vessel not remaining at the top part thereof.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass container which is inexpensively manufacture using a conventional glass container manufacturing facility, free from any toxicity for a human body, and excellent in liquid repellency. SOLUTION: An inwardly inclined surface is formed on an inner circumference of a zenith surface of a mouth part, and a tin oxide film or a titanium oxide film is formed close to the mouth part including the zenith surface and the inclined surface. The liquid content easily returns into a container by the action of the inclined surface, water repellency is given to the mouth part by the tin oxide film or the titanium oxide film, and the liquid release is excellent. Since a coating layer is formed on the mouth part using a coating facility and a material which have been used for a body part of a glass container, the coating layer can be formed inexpensively and safely, and no problems to a human body are raised since the coating film is formed of tin oxide or titanium oxide.
