    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of securing accuracy in the input control of a current air blower, based on the load current of a commutator motor.
      SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner has a commutator 27 for outputting the output of a current detector 26 to a controller 18 as a periodical waveform, according to an alternating voltage; the controller 18 is equipped with an operation-mode setting unit for setting to a standby mode or an operation-mode; a load-current instantaneous-value fetching unit sampling the output value of a commutator 27 in a predetermined period, based on the zero-crossing point, detected by a zero-cross detector 28, to fetch it as a load-current instantaneous value; a non-volatile memory 32b for storing corrected values, based on the load-current instantaneous values, fetched at the load-current instantaneous-value fetching unit in the stand-by mode, and respective predetermined comparison values; and a timing determining unit for determining the output timing to a control signal outputted to a switching element 22, based on a load-current instantaneous value that has been corrected by the load-current instantaneous value, by the corrected value fetched at the load-current instantaneous fetching unit in the operation mode, and the respective current comparison value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that effectively cools a heat-generating electric parts with a part of air flowing through an electric blower.SOLUTION: The electric blower 3 is housed in a cleaner body 2 and is located on the suction side of the electric blower to arrange a dust collector bag. The electric blower is provided with a motor case 11 including a stator 12 and a rotor 13, and a fan cover 18 attached to the motor case while covering a fan 17 connected to the rotor. The electric blower 3 has an exhaust 16 for discharging air which is ejected from the fan and is circulated in a motor case to the outside, and a vent for discharging a part of air ejected from the fan on the upstream side from the exhaust to the outside. An air-cooling chamber 21 is disposed so as to be connected to the vent and the suction side of the electric blower 3. At least a part of a heat dissipating member 41 is disposed in the air-cooling chamber 21 so as to be exposed to an air current circulating in the air-cooling chamber 21. The heat-generating electric parts are attached to the heat dissipating member 41.
