    • PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to improve the operability of a brake button by pushing the brake button with one hand which holds a body handle. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes wheels(31), a body handle(35), a brake button(45). The wheel is rotatably supported on a longitudinal middle part of a cleaner body(2). The front and rear units of the cleaner body moves up and down around the wheel. The body handle includes a grip part(35a) and a base part(35b). The grip part is extended in the width direction of the cleaner body. The base part is put on the upper side of the cleaner body from both sides of the grip part. The body handle is installed on the wheel from the side of the body. If the rotation of the cord reel is allowed, a brake button is pushed with fingers of a hand to hold the grip part.
