    • PURPOSE:To minimize charging pitch into a finishing mill by adding extracting temp. conditions of a rolled stock to decide the extracting time of the rolled stock from a heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:On a hot rolling line, the heating furnace 1, press 2, roughing mill 3, finishing mill 4 and coiler which is not shown are arranged in this order. About each rolled stock 5 during being in the heating furnace 1, by calculating the rolling schedule of the roughing mill 3 and the rolling schedule of the finishing mill 4 based on the sizes of thickness, length, etc., of each rolled stock 5, the prediction of transportation of each rolled stock 5 after it is extracted from the heating furnace 1 is executed and the extracting time from the heating furnace is decided. Next, the temp. deviation between the target temp. and the actual temp. for extracting the rolled stock from the heating furnace is determined and, when it is judged that the temp. deviation is larger than a prescribed value and the rolled stock as the object is in the overheated state, the extracting time that is calculated by a well-known means is corrected into the advanced state.

    • PURPOSE: To improve working efficiency by measuring the delivery speed of a material to be rolled or a material to be straightened on the outlet side of a rolling mill or a straightening machine and executing feed-back or setup of the measured value to the number of revolution of the rolling mill or the straightening machine and the number of revolution of a table roller. CONSTITUTION: The speed of the steel material 6 to be straightened delivered from the straightening machine 7 is measured with a speedometer 4 provided on the outlet side of the straightening machine 7. The measured value is inputted to a computer 5 and, based on the measured delivery speed, the exact number of revolution of a straightening roll 8 and the numbers of revolution of the table roller 1 on the inlet side and table roller 3 on the outlet side are calculated using an equation stored in the computer 5. Those calculated results are set up before the next steel material gets on the table roller 1 on the inlet side and straightening is executed by those values. In this way, rolling or straightening work is smoothly at the delivery speed as set and working efficiency is improved.
