    • PURPOSE:To prevent interference with the thrust of a linear motor at coil position by operating input current for the coil at the movable section of the linear motor based on an output signal fed from a position detecting means and making control such that the input current and the thrust are in a proportional relation. CONSTITUTION:Thrust proportional function f(x) is operated, based on a signal X outputted from a position sensor 11, from the relation between the position of a linear motor 10 and the proportionality coefficient Km of the thrust through a proportional function generator 20. At the same time, the reciprocal 1/f(x) of the proportional function f(x) is also computed by a reciprocal generator 21. The calculated input voltage E is multiplied by an electrical constant (1/R)/(1+L.S/R) in a current calculating circuit 28 to obtain a current I flowing through a coil, then the current I is multiplied by the coefficient value Km at a multiplification point 29 thus obtaining the thrust F of the linear motor 10. Thereafter, acceleration A, speed V and position X are calculated through operating circuits 30, 31, 32 based on the thrust F and employed for control of the linear motor 10.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a highly efficient linear motor by providing an energization timing control means for energizing a coil producing higher thrust around a position at which maximum thrust is produced through two pairs of coils. CONSTITUTION:Output signals from Hall elements 13a, 13b are fed to an energization timing control means 15. At this time, the signals have waveforms as shown by Ha, Hb. The energization timing control means 15 produces energization timing of coils 12a, 12b based on the Hall element output signals Ha, Hb. The timing signals are fed to means 16a, 16b for switching power conduction of coil so that coil energization switching means 15a, 15b switch power for the coils 12a, 12b. At this time, energization timing for the coils 12a, 12b is shown by Va and Vb. In other words, the energization is conducted only during 90 deg. interval assuming that the length of a set of magnets (arranged with one N-pole and one S-pole) is single period 360 deg. around the maximum thrust position.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive to miniaturize and lighten the whole apparatus by equipping the apparatus with a movable element provided at a center core via a bearing bush slidably in the axial direction and having a winding arranged to wind around the center core. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux 31 generated from a permanent magnet 21 and the winding 28 of a movable element 26 cross each other and when DC is applied to the winding 28, a thrust by the Fleming's left hand rule acts on the movable element 26, which slides to the left or right in the figure 1 according to the direction of power application. In this case, a center core 23 has the function as a part of a magnetic circuit, through which a magnetic flux passes, i.e., as a part of the driving mechanism of the movable element 26 and slides the movable element 26 via its bearing bush 27 so as to have the function as a sliding mechanism. Therefore, both driving and sliding mechanisms can be constituted by one mechanism so that the whole apparatus can be miniaturized and lightened as compared with a hitherto used apparatus where both mechanisms are constituted separately.

    • PURPOSE:To make the thrust of an apparatus uniform by turning ON and controlling each winding on the basis of the detected output from a magnetic detecting element to move a movable element. CONSTITUTION:In permanent magnets 11, 14 subjected to multipolar magnetization in the transverse direction, a closed magnetic circuit is formed by four single-pole permanent magnets 12 being adjacent magnetic poles including facing magnetic poles in this case. Therefore, when the transverse length of the permanent magnets 11, 14 is made longer and the single-pole permanent magnets 12 increase in number at the time of lengthening the stroke of a movable element 18, a closed magnetic circuit is formed for every adjacent and facing single-pole permanent magnets 12 and a magnetic flux 22 is not concentrated on one place so that the magnetic flux 22 is not saturated and can be prevented from deviating. Thus, the thrust of an apparatus can be made uniform irrespective of the direction and position of movement of the movable element 18.

    • PURPOSE:To make a torque ripple small by constituting the closed loop of magnetic flux from a magnetic circuit arranged in the direction perpendicular to the operating direction of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A flat plate-shaped permanent magnet 6 is fixed to a fixing base 7 composed of non-magnetic material, and one of both ends seen from the direction of the plate width of said permanent magnet is magnetized into the N pole and the other thereof, into the S pole. Also, the mover of a linear motor is formed as a movable yoke 8 composed of magnetic material, constituted by coils 9-10, and make slidable on said fixing base 7. Said movable yoke 8 is arranged in the manner of facing said permanent magnet 6 while maintaining a constant air gap from both ends of said magnet, and the coils 9-10 are wound as insulated conductors around the movable yoke 8. Thus, the closed loop of magnetic flux phi is formed perpendicularly to the operating direction of said linear motor so that the magnetic flux phi of the permanent magnet 6 is perpendicular to the coil 9 facing the N pole in the linear motor. Then, the direction of said magnetic flux to the coil is always fixed over the whole range of operation.

    • PURPOSE:To enable conducting the detection of a position with a good accuracy without being subject to the influence of a vibration by providing a position transducer composed of a rotary member turning in company with the movement of a moving body and a detector for detecting the rotating quantity of said rotating member at the position on the other edge part side relative to a movable element in said moving body. CONSTITUTION:A position transducer 32 is composed of a disc 33 being a rotator and a detector 34 for detecting the rotating quantity of the disc 33. The disc 33 is provided at one end of a roller shaft 29 to rotate integrally therewith. The detector 34 is composed of a light-emitting element 35 and a light-receiving element 36, which elements are fitted to a moving body 25 so as to bold the circumferential part of the disc 33 between and to detect the rotating quantity of the disc 33 by detecting the passage of the translucent part of said disc 33. As the disk 33 rotates on the basis of the movement of the moving body 25, the moving position of the moving body 25 is detected by detection of the rotating quantity of the disc 33. Thus, the detection of a moving position can be conducted with a good accuracy without being subject to the influence of vibration, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate vibrations from the outside, marring of tubular dielectrics due to external forces, the generation of damages and the variety of discharge and to contrive the stabilization of output by a method wherein annular members consisting of elastic material are closely arranged between the tubular dielectrics and metal electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Annular members 22 and 23 all consist of an elastic material, which is superior in a high frequency resistance and a high temperature resistance and consist of fluorine or a silicone rubber or the like, for example, are formed into the configuration of an O-ring and are pressed to the outer faces of tubular dielectrics 21 by metal electrodes 24 and 25 making a pair in combination with the upper and lower ones. Laser gas is circulated in the inner sides of the dielectrics 21 and silent discharge 34 is performed through the dielectrics 21 between the electrodes 24 and 25 to induce the laser gas. The members 22 and 23 are put in a high-frequency electric field and keep coming into contact to the high-temperature dielectrics 21, but as the members 22 and 23 consist of the high frequency-resistant and high temperature-resistant material, vibrations from the outside and external forces are also absorbed by the elasticity of the members 22 and 23, marring due to the dielectrics and the generation of cracks and failures are prevented and each spaces between the dielectrics 21 and the electrodes 24 and 25 is filled with the members 22 and 23. Thereby, as the generation of spaces is avoided, the variation of the silent discharge 34 is eliminated.
