    • The invention has its object to provide an absorption water chiller/heater provided with a high quality fuel system and an exhaust heat utilization system and capable of effectively preventing crystallization in a heat exchanger mounted on a piping of the exhaust heat utilization system and having exhaust heat introduced from outside thereinto and preventing temperature rise at a high temperature regenerator and corrosion attendant thereupon, and a method of controlling the same. In the absorption water chiller/heater and the controlling method of the same, according to the invention, when shutdown detecting means detects generation of a shutdown signal of a solution pump or a combustion burner, clock means judges whether or not a predetermined period of time has lapsed after the shutdown of the solution pump or the combustion burner, and if predetermined period of time has lapsed, control means outputs a control signal to a branch means to permit a fluid containing exhaust heat to bypass the heat exchanger. In addition, the absorption water chiller/heater of the invention detects an opening and closing condition of a three-way valve to judge whether the water chiller/heater is in an exhaust heat introduction operating mode or a normal operating mode, thus automatically regulating opening upper limiters of a high quality fuel regulating throttle valve and a combustion air regulating throttle valve of a high quality fuel combustion burner provided in the high temperature regenerator for the respective modes.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain an absorption water cooling-heating machine which can meet a request for energy saving even in an exhaust heat charging operation mode wherein an exhaust heat from outside is charged, and also which prevents an excessive rise in temperature of a high-temperature regenerator and, moreover, ensures a refrigerating capacity even when the temperature of hot drain water is low. CONSTITUTION: In an absorption water cooling-heating machine 1 to which an exhaust heat is supplied selectively through a branch piping 22 branching from a hot water supply pipe 21 communicating with an exhaust heat source, a control device 26 executing an on-off control of a three-way valve V1 in response to the result of detection of a detecting means 24 of a cold water outlet temperature TLout is provided. The control means 26 may also be constructed so that it executes the on-off control of the three-way valve V1 in response to the result of detection of a detecting means 28 of a hot water temperature TH. Furthermore, it is also possible to construct a control device 30 executing the on-off control of the three-way valve V1 in response to the results of detection of the detecting means 24 of the cold water outlet temperature TLout and the detecting means 28 of the hot water temperature TH.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a refrigerant from becoming gas-liquid two phase state by a method wherein an upper end of an inner cylinder formed with an opening at an upper side surface is provided with a mesh-like member and a gas recoverying member. CONSTITUTION:An upper end of an inner cylinder 1 is provided with a liquid dropper 2 formed by a mesh-like member, i.e., a punched metal and a conical gas recoverying member 3. An upper side surface of the inner cylinder 1 is provided with a plurality of liquid outlet ports 4. An outer cylinder 6 having a bottom plate 5 of the inner cylinder 1 together in a state that it encloses an outer circumferential side surface of the inner cylinder 1 and it is arranged in coaxial with the inner cylinder 1. A feeding pipe 7 sealingly passing through the outer cylinder 6 and the inner cylinder 1 is fixed to a bottom side surface of the inner cylinder 1 while being offset. A feeding-out pipe 8 is fixed to the outer cylinder 6. With such an arrangement as mentioned above, it becomes possible to perform a gas-liquid separation of refrigerant and so there is no possibility that a performance of the air-conditioner such as a heat pump and the like is lowered.

    • PURPOSE:To improve fuel efficiency and durability of an engine by controlling a speed of a stepless transmission by speed control means based on a rotating speed of a compressor instructed from heat pump capacity control means, and controlling an output of the engine by output control means. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 3 is connected to an engine through a stepless transmission 2 to compress refrigerant, and the refrigerant is fed to a heat pump body. Rotating speed control means 4 and heat pump capacity control means 6 are sequentially connected to the transmission 2. Further, air conditioning load detecting means 7 of the pump is connected to the means 6, and rotating speed detecting means 8 of the compressor 3 is connected to the means 4. Output control means 5 is connected to the engine 1, and speed detecting means 9 of the engine 1 is connected to the means 5. Thus, the speed of the transmission 2 is controlled based on the speed of the compressor 3 instructed from the means 6 by the means 4.
