    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the time when a gas enterpriser severally releases a gas cock by closing the gas cock and surely fixing the gas cock while releasing the gas cock by consumer itself in the case of a reopening.
      SOLUTION: A meter gas-cock fixture is installed to inlet-side piping 2 at the place of the gas cock 4 by a clamp 10, and fixed by an arm 24 so that a handle 5 cannot be rotated in the open direction when the handle 5 is turned at a close place. The arm 24 is fixed by locking a dial lock 34, and brought to a free state by a releasing. A password number is used for a dial for the dial lock 34, the password number is set by the gas enterpriser when a device is mounted. The password number is taught to a consumer through a communication line in the case of the releasing, and the consumer conducts a releasing procedure. Consequently, the gas enterpriser need not go severally for the releasing. The supply of a gas can be reopened quickly.

During the delay period, a governor arranged on the upstream side of the microcomputer meter 30 is maintained at a closed state to perform gas leakage inspection.

Thus, even when trouble takes place in a telephone line or the like, the necessity of manual metering is avoided.
