摘要： A base station (110) enables a wireless device (120) (e.g., user equipment) to transmit user data on an uplink (130) during random access. The base station (110) transmits a resource grant indicating a plurality of options from which the wireless device (120) is permitted to select for use in transmitting the user data on the uplink (130) during random access. Each respective option comprises a transport block size; and a number of resource units and/or physical resource blocks. The wireless device (120) receives the resource grant, and transmits the user data on the uplink (130) during random access to the base station (110) according to at least one of the options.

摘要： A method, performed by a wireless communication system (100), a method and node therein are provided for managing operation of multiple Radio Access Technologies, “RATS”. A first type of wireless devices (120) is enabled to communicate wirelessly in the wireless communication system (100) according to a first RAT, via one or more base stations (110). In the first RAT, resource blocks for uplink and/or downlink communication are allocated according to a predetermined multiple access structure based on frequency division and/or time division. The wireless communication system (100) excludes (701) for allocation to the first type of wireless devices (120) one or more of said resource blocks of the first RAT. The wireless communication system (100) further allocates (702) said excluded one or more resource blocks of the first RAT for use by a second type of wireless devices (121) and for wireless communication according to a second RAT, via said one or more base stations.

摘要： A radio network node comprised, and a wireless device configured to be operative, in a wireless communication system. The radio network node obtains downlink data and converts it to a baseband signal. The conversion comprises Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying (GMSK) modulation of the downlink data. The modulation applies a negative modulation index selected based on a type of wireless device that is a target for the downlink data. A radio signal is provided based on the baseband signal and sent to, and received by, the wireless device that provides user data based on the radio signal.

摘要： A method for transmitting information from a radio base station node to a first mobile station and a second mobile station is disclosed herein. The first and second mobile stations are paired on and share a same carrier frequency, TDMA frame, and time slot in a wireless communication system. Further, the first and second mobile stations are allocated on a first and second VAMOS sub-channel, respectively. The method includes transmitting a GMSK modulated SACCH burst of a SACCH block in a predetermined time slot and TDMA frame on one of the first and second VAMOS sub-channel. The method further includes simultaneously muting the other of the first and second VAMOS sub-channels in the predetermined time slot and TDMA frame.
