摘要： PURPOSE:To greatly enhance the economics by decomposing the atmospheric side conponents of a shield machine after excavation of a pit, collecting them back onto the ground, and lifting a cutter head by a crane installed on the ground in the condition that the pit is submerged with water for collection of the cutter head. CONSTITUTION:After a pit is excavated by a vertical shield machine 1, mud feeding/ exhausting pipes, erector, cutter rotating motor, shield jack, etc., which are positioned on the atmospheric side above a bulkhead 12, are collected back onto the ground. Using a wire 22 a cutter head 3 is tied with a hook 21 sunk from a crane provided on the ground. Water is poured into the pit so that the shield machine 1 is submerged with water, and the water is put to the level which generates equilibrium with the earth pressure and subsoil water pressure acting on the excavation surface and inside of a bulkhead chamber, and the state of free water surface is generated. A ring girder 4 is separated from a bulkhead 5 using a remote control device such as a hydraulic jack, and the cutter head 3 is lifted by the crane and collected onto the ground. Thereby the cutter head and other components which are expensive can be collected, and construction of the works can be completed safely and quickly.

CONSTITUTION:In the case of normal excavation, a sliding jack 4 used for connecting the front drum 2 to the rear drum 3 of a vertical shield excavator 1 is extended, a cutter head 7 provided to the front end of the front drum 2 is rotated to make excavation, and excavated earth is discharged together with sludge through sludge withdrawal pipes 14 and 15. In the case cutter torque becomes excessive during the excavation, the driving of the shield excavator is stopped, the sliding jack 4 is reduced, the front drum 2 and the cutter head 7 are floated by sludge pressure in a cutter chamber 20, and after that, they are gradually returned to their original driving state to start excavation again.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a prohibiting device of rotation which can be applied for a vertical shield excavating a shaft and installed without spacious area in the shield machine or in the rear side thereof. CONSTITUTION:A prohibiting device against the rotation of a shield machine is composed of a torque-transmission shaft 14 extending from the shield body 1 to the rear side and positioning near the center line of the shielding, a frame 16 fitted to the rear end 14a of the torque-transmission shaft to slide in the axial direction and transmit the torque, and shoes 17-1, 17-2 supported on the frame and reciprocally driven by a hydraulic jack in the radial direction of the shield. The shield machine body 1 receives the rotary reactive force of the cutter head 2 by the friction force (fit between protrusion and recession) between these shoes and the existing segment 12 and the force prevents the shield machine 1 from rotating.

CONSTITUTION:During excavation, a cutter chamber 7 is filled with slurry fed by a water pipe 8. A slurry pipe 9 is extended nearly to the middle at the front of a truncated cutter head 2 and the front end opening 15 of slurry pipe 9 is arranged at the deviated position from the shield center line on the cutter head 2. Excavated soil and sand piled at the center of working face by the gravitational action are sucked from the front end opening 15 rotating in accordance with the revolution of cutter head 2 into the slurry pipe 9. Another slurry pipe 10 equipped separately discharges the soil and sand in the cutter chamber 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To exchange a tail seal without halting the operation of a shield machine. CONSTITUTION:An inner ring 3 provided with a tail seal 2 is fixed with an inner peripheral surface of a skin plate 1 for a shield machine. A replacement inner ring 6 is installed to an inner peripheral surface of the tail skin plate 1 at a portion in front of the inner ring 3 and segments 5 are assembled on the inner peripheral surface of the replacement inner ring 3. The inner ring 3 in service and the replacement inner ring 6 are fixed with a check bolt 8 while the shield machine is adapted to advance by a portion of one ring. A new replacement inner ring 6 is fixed with the tail skin plate 1 while accompanied by the advancement of the shield machine, a used old inner ring 3 is left over backward as it is. It is, therefore, possible to exchange new and old tail seals 7 and 2 under the continuous drilling operation of the shield machine and reduce both construction period and cost in the execution of excavation work based on a shield method.

Then, a guide pipe 12 and a reaction force rack 13 are installed to this collected space. A hydraulic jack 14 is operated, thereby lifting up a cutter inner peripheral part 5 of the cutter or the like and securing a space 18 whose cast thickness is equivalent to that of footing concrete 15. After the footing concrete 15 is cast in this space 18, the components in a guide pipe 12 and the remaining components such as the shielding jack 14 and sludge feed and discharge valve 11 of the shielding machine 1 are collected.

A shaft structure 7 of succeeding order built at the site of the hole 2 is piled in order on the foremost shaft structure 1. Water is poured in the hollow part 1a of the shaft structures 1, 7 while keeping balance with the floating force, so as to sinkingly install the shaft structure 1. In this way, for moving the foremost shaft structure 1 of heavy weight of 20t-50t, any a large sized crane is not at all necessary, and hence the labor for sinkingly installation work is saved and the low cost can be attained.
