    • PURPOSE:To provide a force imparting jig which can grasp behavior of a test piece, e.g. axial repetition of compression and tension or repeated bending, and is pressable or tensible on condition that the border is stretched or the like. CONSTITUTION:One force imparting member 11 is constituted of a handle part 11b and a pan-like part 11a coupled therewith wherein a spherical recessed part 11a1 is formed in the pan-like part 11a on the opposite side to the handle part 11b. A spherical protrusion 11a2 is formed on the pan-like part 11a on the side of the handle part 11b. The other force imparting member 12 is constituted of vessel-like bodies 12a, 12b containing a part of one force imparting member 11 and the pan-like part 11a wherein a spherical protrusion 12a1. fitting to the spherical recess 11a1 of the pan-like part 11a and a spherical recess 12b1 fitting to the spherical protrusion 12a2 of the pan-like part 11a are formed on the inside of the vessel-like bodies 12a, 12b. The force imparting members 11, 12 are arranged to rotate by a predetermined angle. This constitution eliminates restrictions on material test using force imparting method.

    • PURPOSE:To lighten a joint, to simplify connection operation on a field and to enable production with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of the girder-shaped member 10 of a laminated lumber, in which burying hardware 12 is buried into the end section of the member 10 and a connecting section 12b composed of a part of the burying hardware is projected from the end face of the member 10, a large opening is formed to the burying section of the burying hardware 12, and a recessed section 13 having the same shape and size as those of the burying section of the burying hardware is formed to the connecting surface of a blank member 11A. The burying section of the burying hardware 12 is fitted into the recessed section 13, the connecting surfaces 11A1, 11A2 of the blank member 11A and the connecting surfaces 11B1, 11B2 of a blank member 11B are superposed, and adhesives are executed between each blank member and among each blank member and the burying section of the burying hardware. Each member is press-contacted by a proper means, and a pair of the blank members 11A, 11B and the connecting hardware 12 are joined by curing adhesives, thus manufacturing the girder-shaped member 10 with the connecting section. Accordingly, a frame made up of the girder-shaped member of the laminated lumber can be carried out through approximately the same erection as the erection of the frame of a steel frame section.
