    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently decompose environmental hormones of a very small concentration by thickening environmental hormonal materials by an adsorbent, administrating decomposition bacteria, nutrient salts, moisture, air, or the like, thereto, thereby decomposing the environmental hormones. SOLUTION: The environmental hormones are thickened by the adsorbent and are decomposed by the decomposition bacteria, and the like, by using this device. An ozone treating tank or activated sludge treating vessel is not always required here and the thickening and decomposing efficiency is improved if there are these treating vessels. Also, a bioactive carbon treating vessel 2 is not always essential but since the chemical materials flowing over from the bioactive carbon treating vessel 1 may be subjected to the decomposition treatment, the treating vessel 2 is preferably installed in combination if possible. The decomposition activity is not enhanced before the decomposition bacteria are stabilized by assimilating the chemical materials adsorbed on the active carbon. If, however, the adhesion of the decomposition bacteria to the active carbon stabilizes, representative bisphenol A may be decomposed about 70 to 100% for from two weeks to about one month.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict expansion on appearance of an organic material and to stably and effectively recover a methane gas even when methane fermentation is performed without adding water to the organic material in fact in such a case of so-called dry type methane fermentation. SOLUTION: The methane gas recovery apparatus is provided with a tank for storing the organic material; an introduction part provided on an upper part of the tank and introducing the organic material into the tank; a gas-discharge part provided on the upper part of the tank and discharging the methane gas generated by methane-fermenting the organic material in the tank to the outside of the tank; and a discharge part provided on a lower part of the tank and discharging the residue of the fermented organic material. The apparatus is provided with a shaft body arranged in the tank and vertically extending; stirring impellers provided on the shaft body at a plurality of positions in a vertical direction; and a drive means for rotating/driving the shaft body. • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively separate sand and a heavy oil lump from each other by forming a swirling flow in a cylindrical tower water tank, rapidly settling the heavy oil lump in the tower water tank and sucking the sand by a pump to transfer to a sand separation tank out of the tower tank while retaining in the center part of the swirling flow. SOLUTION: The cylindrical tower water tank 2 is provided coaxially with a cylindrical rotary rotor 3 inside and the bottom part is used for an oil lump storage tank 5. The flow rate of the swirling flow 12 formed by the rotary rotor 3 is more than the sand settling velocity and not more than the heavy oil lump settling velocity. Sea water is stored in the tower water tank 2 and the sand separation tank 16 and a heavy oil contaminated sand W is charged to the tower water tank 2 from a hopper 8 by driving the rotary rotor 3 and a pump 19. The sand Sa is collected to the flow center part by flowing on the swirling flow 12 without settling and the heavy oil lump Oi is settled in the oil lump storage tank 5. The sand Sa swirling at the center part of the tower water tank 2 is sucked up with water from a water sucking pipe 18 by the pump 19 to be fed to the sand separatin tank 16 and settled on the bottom. The supernatant of the sand separation tank 16 is returned to the tower tank 2 through a water returning line 20.
