摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe antifouling agent for a long period of time by allowing the agent to flow out from the resin composition containing indol repellent compounds at more than fixed rate. SOLUTION: The objective antifouling agent is a resin composition consisting of an indol repellent substance (e.g. 2,5,6-tribromo-1-metylgramine) and a resin part, and when the above resin composition is immersed in water, the repellent effect is displayed by regulating the effluence of the above indol repellent substance in the rate of 5μg/cm /day. The above expellent is usable is usable in forms of resin, coating material and solution. When using as the resin, for example, a thermosetting resin and an indol repellent substance are preferably formulated in amounts of 50-90wt.% and 10-50wt.%, respectively. and when using as the coating material and the solution, the contents of the thermosetting resin and the indol repellent substance are preferably 5-50wt.% and 5-70wt.%, respectively, based on the total weight.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject agent having high safety, exhibiting excellent antifouling effect and effective for preventing the adhesion and proliferation of harmful aquatic lief on an equipment, etc., in the sea by using two or more specific kinds of nitrogen-containing compounds in combination. SOLUTION: This agent contains an indole compound, especially a compound of formula I (Y is H, an alkyl or phenyl; X1 to X6 are each H, a halogen, an alkoxyl, nitro, cyano, an alkyl, phenyl, etc.) and a pyridine compound, especially a compound of formula II as active components. The ratio of the compound is preferably >=15wt.% for the indole compound and >=20wt.% for the pyridine compound. The controlling agent is preferably used in the form of resin, coating or emulsion. The antifouling agent has excellent repelling effect on a large-sized aquatic adhesive life such as barnacle and blue mussel as well as slime-forming microorganisms. It has long duration period, is safe to human body an causes little environmental pollution.

SOLUTION: This antifouling agent contains 7-hydroxy-N,N-di-n-propyl-2- aminotetralin of the formula or its salt (hydrobromic acid salt and the like) as an active ingredient. This antifouling agent is prepared in forms of coating material, solution and emulsion to use. For example, when used as the coating material, an antifouling coating material is prepared by formulating the above active ingredient with a coating regulator and it is applied to ship-bottom, construction in water and waterway for cooling water. The new gene is obtained by extracting a DNA from a cypris larva of Balanus amphitrite as a starting substance according to a conventional method, designing a primer from the gene of a serotonin receptor which is the G protein bonding type receptor, carrying out the polymerase chain reactional(PCR) method for the DNA of the Balanus amphitrite using the designed primer and cloning the gene.
