    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an arithmetic load in the case of analyzing sunshine through a window into a room by analyzing sunshine around the outer periphery of a building, preserving the result and analyzing sunshine into the room with preserved data as boundary conditions. SOLUTION: Analytic conditions are set, the window is divided into many patches and sunshine around the outer periphery of a building, which is the target, is analyzed. For each of divided patches, the level and direction of sunshine energy to irradiate the surface of the window are calculated and the calculated result is temporarily retained in a storage device as data for analyzing sunshine in the room together with date/time information. Conditions for analyzing sunshine in the room are set. The data for sunshine analysis stored in the storage device are read out and with these data as boundary conditions, sunshine in the room is analyzed. As long as the form of the window is fixed, even when the conditions in the room are changed, it is enough only to analyze sunshine in the room and the analysis of sunshine around the outer periphery of the building can be omitted.
