    • This apparatus, preferably applicable to a molding machine using the core change type dies, is capable of pushing out the inserted core from the mother mold, thereby facilitating the core extracting operation by the robots. A mother mold of a complementary die in the core change type dies is constituted by a main body and an intermediate plate which is disposed behind the main body and to be movable in both the forward and backward directions. A core fixing and releasing mechanism is provided on the intermediate plate. Furthermore, there is provided a push-out device disposed in a clearance formed between the main body and the intermediate plate when the intermediate plate is shifted rearward. The push-out device has its one surface abutting on a front surface of a core and its another surface abutting on a rear surface of the main body. The push-out device is attached to a distal end of an arm of a robot, combined with a molding machine, so that the push-out device is slidable in both the forward and backward directions and is urged rearward, if necessary.

    • A plasticization control method for an injection molding machine in which the plasticized state of resin in an injection cylinder is controlled in measuring based on the detected rotating force of a screw. A reference screw rotating force C or F required for desired measuring operation is determined. Using the reference screw rotating force C or F as a reference, upper and lower limits D and E of an allowable screw rotating force range, in which measuring can be performed normally, are set for each of screw positions, and then stored as an allowable value file. The rotating force V acting on the screw during measuring operation is successively detected. If the rotating force V is not between the upper and lower limits D and E of the allowable range relating to the current position of the screw, it is judged that plasticization is abnormal and an abnormality alarm is outputted.     • The invention aims to provide a novel alkaline protease having peculiar properties such as high alkali activity, resistance to surfactants and calcium-dependent thermostability and exhibiting excellent performance in highly alkaline detergents, and a gene coding for the amino acid sequence thereof. There is provided an alkaline protease with such properties that an active pH range is from 5 to 13, an optimum pH is approximately 12.6, an optimum temperature is 70° C., no activity drop by heating is observed up to 65° C. at pH 10 and the optimum temperature and the thermostability are not affected by Ca2+ ions. Specifically, there is provided, for example, an alkaline protease having an amino acid sequence constituting a mature enzyme as represented by SEQ ID NO: 3 or an amino acid sequence resulting from deletion, substitution, situs inversus arrangement, addition or insertion of a part of amino acids thereof, or derived from Alkaliphillus transvaalensis. The protease cleaves 26 peptide bonds among 29 peptide bonds of acidic insulin B-chain.

    • A method of locating a fault point in a parallel two-circuit transmission line in an n-terminal system. When a single fault occurs at one place in one circuit of the transmission line and when a multiple fault occurs at the same place in the two circuits, a distance to the fault may be calculated by the method of this invention. The method comprises the steps of transforming the transmission line into a T three-terminal parallel two-circuit transmission line circuit having three branches, calculating a value representing a length of one of the three branches on the basis of differential currents flowing into the branch points of the transmission line, determining if that value represents the distance from a terminal connected to the branch point to the fault point, employing the value as the distance to the fault point if the value represents such a distance, repeating the value calculation and determination for the other two branches if the value does not represent the distance to the fault, determining a next branch point for which to perform equivalent transformation with respect to, and repeating the previous steps until the fault is found.
