    • An image sensor may include a semiconductor substrate having unit pixel regions on the semiconductor substrate; photoelectric converters formed in the unit pixel regions; interlayer insulating films covering the photoelectric converters and having opening portions formed above the photoelectric converters; a light-transmissive portion filling the opening portions; color filters formed on the light-transmissive portion; and microlenses formed on the color filters. The microlenses may include a plurality of concentric circle patterns and a plurality of arc patterns arranged around the concentric circle patterns. An arc pattern around a specific concentric circle pattern may have a same center as the specific concentric circle pattern. A method of manufacturing the image sensor may include forming the photoelectric converters; forming the interlayer insulating films; removing parts of the interlayer insulating films to form the opening portions; forming the light-transmissive portion to fill the opening portions; forming the color filters; and forming the microlenses.

    • Disclosed is a hinge structure for a flat visual display device. The hinge structure comprises: a fixed plate and pivotal plates respectively fastened to the flat visual display device and a supporting portion for straightening the flat visual display device; rotation shafts with first ends placed in the side of the fixed plate and second ends placed in the side of the pivotal plates, the first or second ends being fixed to allow relative rotational movement between the fixed and pivotal plates; braking members provided around the rotation shafts for applying braking force; and braking housings provided around the braking members and with first fixed ends opposite to the fixed ends of the rotation shaft for applying braking force to faces contacting with the braking members.

    • A method for fabricating a cylinder-type capacitor for a semiconductor device includes the steps of forming in sequence a first insulating layer, a first etch stop layer, a second insulating layer, and a second etch stop layer on a semiconductor substrate including a conductive region, forming a second etch stop layer pattern, a second insulating layer pattern, and a first etch stop layer pattern by etching a part of the second etch stop layer, the second insulating layer, and the first etch stop layer so that a storage node hole for exposing the surface of a part of the first insulating layer may be formed, forming a spacer on an inner wall of the storage node hole, forming a first insulating layer pattern by etching the first insulating layer exposed using the second etch stop layer pattern and the spacer as a mask so that a node contact hole for exposing the conductive region is formed, removing the second etch stop layer pattern and the spacer, forming a lower electrode on the surfaces of the storage node hole and the node contact hole, and forming a dielectric layer and an upper electrode on the lower electrode. According to the present invention, a semiconductor cylinder-type capacitor is provided at a relatively low production cost using simplified fabrication processes.

    • An apparatus adjusts the frequency characteristic of an audio signal output corresponding to changes in an individual's biorhythms. The apparatus is composed of a key input unit for receiving biorhythm parameters, a ROM for storing a frequency-characteristic adjustment pattern corresponding to a biorhythm change and for selectively outputting the adjustment pattern for each rhythm corresponding to an applied intellectual rhythm, physical rhythm and emotional or sensitivity rhythm as a function of time, a controller for determining the intellectual rhythm, physical rhythm and emotional or sensitivity rhythm for the current day based on parameters input through the key input unit, providing the determination to the ROM and outputting a control signal corresponding to the adjustment pattern output from the ROM, and a frequency-characteristic adjuster for adjusting the frequency characteristic of an audio signal responding to the control signal output from the controller. The apparatus improves aural satisfaction by adjusting the frequency characteristic of an audio signal output according to the user's biorhythm.
