    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion testing method and a corrosion testing system suitable for evaluating a corrosion resistance of an electric wire with terminal utilized in an environment in which corrosion advances relatively slowly.
      SOLUTION: This corrosion testing method includes the steps of preparing a pair of samples 1 having a terminal member 11 attached to the end of the electric wire 10 provided with an insulation layer 10i on an outer circumference of a conductor 10c; arranging each of the samples 1 with the terminal members 11 thereof separated from each other; preparing an electrolyte carrier 4 having an electrolyte adhered to a granular surface of a nonmetallic insulating material; bringing the electrolyte carrier into contact with both the terminal members 11 and arranging the same so as to be interposed between both the terminal members 11; charging the samples 1 into a constant-temperature, constant-humidity device 2 in this state to hold at a constant temperature and a constant humidity; and applying a constant voltage to both the samples 1 for a predetermined time by a voltage application device 3. A fluid containing electrolyte generated by the electrolyte of the electrolyte carrier 4 and moisture in an atmosphere of the constant-temperature, constant-humidity device 2 is interposed between both the terminal members 11. Utilizing this fluid, a leak current runs and corrodes the terminal members 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electric wire conductor and a vehicular electric wire which reduce the diameter of the electric wire since it has high strength and elongation, and is superior in impact resistant energy.
      SOLUTION: A conductor 12 which contains zinc by 25 to 45 mass% and of which the rest is constituted of a soft material of copper alloy composed of copper and inevitable impurities is used. The copper alloy may contain metal such as magnesium, tin, silver, indium, strontium, and calcium by a prescribed amount. It is preferable that the soft material of the copper alloy has tensile strength of 350 MPa or more and elongation of 10% or more. Moreover, it is preferable that conductivity of the copper alloy is 20% IACS or more. It is preferable that a cross-sectional area of the conductor 12 is 0.22 mm
      2 or less. Then, the vehicular electric wire 10 is used in which the outer periphery of the conductor 12 is not covered by an insulator 14. It is preferable that the vehicular electric wire 10 has a length of 1 m and impact resistant energy of 40 J or more per the cross-sectional area of 1 mm
      2 .
