    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of a display device, which appropriately evaluates a display property of the display device.
      SOLUTION: A color difference ΔEi as a measurement value is acquired concerning the display device 1 to be evaluated. A detection limit value color difference ΔEk, where luminous factor with respect to color change is considered, is determined with use of a subjective evaluation result of color difference obtained for the display device 1. A high color reproduction evaluation number HR is determined with use of the color difference ΔEi and the detection limit value color difference ΔEk. The display property (a color reproduction property, a viewing angle property, and an illumination environmental property, etc.) of the display device 1 are evaluated with use of the high color reproduction evaluation number HR. Thus, objective display property evaluation which further matches human senses is achieved compared with a conventional manner.
