Especially, the new compounds which have not been reported in former techniques are n=9: 11-methylidene-14-tetradecanolide and 11-methyl-14-tetradecanolide, and n=8: 10-methylidene-13-tridecanolide and 10-methyl-13-tridecanolide. The fragrance composition and the fragrance article contain at least one species of the new compounds.
