摘要： A fixed section of an optical recording and reproducing apparatus is provided with an actuator for optically controlling the fine tracking of a laser beam to be held at a predetermined position, by moving a diverging convex lens of a relay lens in a direction perpendicular to that of the optical axis; first and second filter circuits for separating a tracking error signal outputted from a differential amplifier connected to a two-split light-receiving element into a high-frequency-side signal and a low-frequency-side signal respectively; a first driving control circuit for controlling the driving of a linear motor for moving a movable section of the apparatus on the basis of the low-frequency-side signal separated by the first filter circuit; and a second driving control circuit for controlling the driving of the actuator on the basis of the high-frequency-side signal separated by the second filter circuit.

摘要： A floating head for use with a recording apparatus of magneto-optical memory type comprising a floating body which is provided in the vicinity of a rotating optical recording medium and which is made afloat by an air stream created by the rotation of the recording medium, an objective lens which is fitted in an optical path forming aperture in the floating body and which permits converging light from a light source to be focused on a focusing plane of the recording medium, and a coil which is installed in the vicinity of the optical path forming aperture in the floating body and which forms a magnetic field toward the focusing plane of the recording medium. The floating body is made of a soft magnetic material and is provided with a rim made of a soft magnetic material which is formed along the peripheral edge of the optical path forming aperture on the side closer to the optical recording medium and which projects toward the same. The rim is tapered in such a way that its wall thickness decreases gradually toward the center of the optical path forming aperture.

摘要： A magnetic optical recording/reproducing apparatus comprising: a movable focus adjusting member including converging means for converging a light beams emitted from a light source on a focal plane of an optical recording medium, focus coil means for driving the converging means in a direction substantially vertical to the plane of the optical recording medium by electromagnetic force when a current is applied, seek coil means for driving the converging means in a radial direction of the optical recording medium by electromagnetic force when a current is applied, and support means for supporting the focus coil means and the seek coil means; a carriage means for moving the movable focus adjusting member in the radial direction of the optical recording medium; and spring means fixed at one portion thereof to the movable focus adjusting member and the other end portion thereof to the carriage means for supporting the movable focus adjusting member to move the movable focus adjusting member to the carriage means in a direction substantially vertical to the plane of the optical recording medium.

摘要： A flying head assembly for a magneto-optical recording drive includes a first head portion of a nonmagnetic material, and a second head portion mounted in an aperture through the first head portion. The second head portion and aperture define an annular path through the first head portion. A coil for generating a magnetic field is wrapped concentrically around the aperture, either inside or outside of the second head portion. A laser light beam is reflected into the annular path and focused onto a recording medium.

摘要： An apparatus for correcting positional deviation of the light source emitting light beams in an image recording apparatus is disclosed which corrects change of the image size (dimensions of the image) on the photosensitive member due to positional deviations of beam spots on the photosensitive member on account of physical distortions caused by external vibration, temperature change, and the like. Changes in the diameter of detective light beams are measured by photodetecting portions 5.sub.R and 5.sub.L and piezoelectric devices 6a and 6b are driven based on the results of the detection, whereby the semiconductor laser array 1 is moved so that the multiplication b/a for the image size may be kept constant.

摘要： This invention has an object to provide speed control method and device for an optical head in which a decelerating operation and so on for the optical head is carried out at an uniform deceleration or acceleration mode at high speed, and a speed control is carried out sufficiently accurately with excellent seekability and simple construction. The speed control device for the optical head according to this invention is so constructed that in the speed control of the seek operation of the optical head using feedback of a difference signal between a reference speed signal and a speed detection signal, the reference speed signal is switched to a ground level when a residual track number is below a predetermined value, and the optical head is pulled into a tracking servo operation when a predetermined time has elapsed since the switching time of the reference speed signal to the ground level.
