摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of giving plants resistance against various biological or non-biological stresses and a method of reducing harmful effects of agrochemicals on plants.SOLUTION: Resistance against stresses is given to plants by applying (A) at least one substance selected from a group of compounds represented by the formula (I) and the like and salts thereof to the plants. Harmful effects of agrochemicals on plants are reduced by giving plants resistance against stresses. (I), where Rto Rare each independently a hydrogen atom, -SOH, -POH, a glycosyl group or -COR, Rrepresents a C1 to C30 alkyl group having an unsubstituted or substituted group or a C2 to C30 alkenyl group having an unsubstituted or substituted group.
