SOLUTION: The wiring tool 10 of a three-module size embedded in the wall using a frame-like support comprises a resin-made body and a resin-made cover 22. The cover 22 is fixed to the body with screws 75 at two diagonal positions in front view. The engaging part of the cover 22 is engaged with that of the body at other two diagonal positions. This eliminates the need for a caulking tool that caulks the body and the cover 22, thus reducing the manufacturing cost.       SOLUTION: This switch device 11 to be embedded in and installed on a wall surface 12 is provided with an operation part 31 and a socket 33. A load is controlled by the operation part 31 in the state where a wireless adapter 44 is not mounted to the socket 33. When the wireless adapter 44 is mounted to the socket 33, transmission/reception are executed with an external wireless apparatus and control of the load and confirmation of the state is enabled by using the external wireless apparatus. Since the wireless adapter 44 can be connected to the socket 33 as required, initial facility investment can be reduced and a high function can easily be added as compared with a structure where a reception circuit is fixedly mounted. Since the socket 33 is opened downward and a plug 45 of the wireless adapter 44 is connected in a form without being exposed to the outside, intrusion and adhesion of dust into/to a part of a terminal of the socket 33 can be restrained and the wireless adapter 44 can surely be connected to the socket 33.

      SOLUTION: A surge protective element 13 absorbs surge voltage superposed between power supply wires that guide commercial power to an outlet of commercial power. This surge protective element 13 is connected in parallel between power supply wires, and a circuit breaking means 14 is connected in series with the surge protective element 13. When the temperature of the surge protective element 13 reaches or exceeds a predetermined value, the circuit breaking means 14 is actuated, and disconnects the surge protective element 13 from between the power supply wires. The series circuit of the surge protective element 13 and the circuit breaking means 14 are housed in and integrated with a main body 12 for size reduction.
