    • PURPOSE:To improve starting performance with simple construction by providing a matter having fine holes and whose ventilation is eliminated when fuel is adsorbed on an excessive fuel discharge passage communicating a fuel chamber of a diaphragm type carburetor and atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A tickler 20 is provided on the back face of a diaphragm 10 of a diaphragm type carburetor and a porous fuel adsorbing matter 23 is provided on a chamber 22 on the way of a fuel discharge passage 21 communicating a fuel chamber 9 and atmosphere. In starting of an engine, when the tickler 20 is pressed, the diaphragm 10 releases a fuel valve 8 through a lever 13 to make fuel flow from a tank into the fuel chamber 9. Pressing of the tickler 20 is stopped by excessive fuel when it is discharged from the fuel discharge passage 21. During operation of the engine, ventilation ability is eliminated by adsorbed fuel in the porous matter 23 and air is not flowed into the fuel chamber 9. Even if fuel in the porous matter 23 is evaporated, fuel in the fuel chamber 9 enters into the porous matter 23 during working of a working machine, then air is not entered.

    • PURPOSE:To supply an optimum amount of fuel over the entire running range of an engine, by changing the jet opening area of a membrane type carbureter in accordance with the opening degree of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:Fuel fed into a chamber 16 from a diaphragm pump 10 through a valve 15, flows from a chamber for a jet needle 37 through a jet 34 around the jet needle 37, and through a passage 27 and an adjusting screw 29, and then is mixed with bleed air 30. Then, the fuel is fed into the engine through nozzle ports 26a, 26b. A plunger 41 against which the lower end of the jet needle 37 abuts, is abutted by means of a spring 39 against the cam surface of a cam section 40 formed in the end part of the shaft 25 of a throttle valve 24. When the opening degree of the throttle valve 24 is small, the plunger 41 is lowered by the cam to decrease the opening area of the jet 34. Meanwhile the opening area of the jet 34 increases as the opening degree of the throttle valve 24 increases, so that a large amount of fuel is fed into the engine.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate starting control which prevents wasteful consumption of fuel, by a method wherein fuel for starting, fed by a manually-operated starting pump, is guided once in an injection device formed of a clear bag body, and is supplied to a suction passage as the fuel amount is observed from the outside. CONSTITUTION:A fuel pump 3 is mounted to one side of the body 2 of a carburetter A and a regulating part 4 to the other side thereof, and the fuel pump 3 is connected to a fuel tank 5 through a feed oil pipe 6. The fuel pump 3 reciprocates a film 12 by means of a pulsating pressure, produced in a crank case and guided through a connecting passage 14 to a pressure chamber 13 to discharge the fuel in a pump chamber 9. The discharged fuel is sucked out through a fuel valve 16 and the regulating part 4 from a main nozzle 25 into a suction passage 1. A manually-operated starting pump B, effecting discharge of fuel by forcibly pressing an elastic film 31 against the working of a shut-off mechanism 38, and an injection device C, having a clear and expansible bag body 40, are mounted in a starting fuel passage 28 which is branched from a fuel passage 15 and led to a starting nozzle 27.

    • PURPOSE: To supply air fuel mixture of proper mixing ratio by connecting a negative pressure chamber which pressure controls a fuel pressure regulating chamber and a venturi part at the negative pressure passage to reduce the fuel supply in the fully opened high speed running region.
      CONSTITUTION: A negative pressure chamber 7 which controls a fuel pressure regulating chamber 5 through a diaphragm 6 is connected to atmosphere via a vent port 9 which is formed with constriction, said negative pressure chamber also being connected to the narrowest part of a venturi 3 through a negative pressure passage 12 having a throttle valve 10 of a check valve construction and a construction 11. A valve body 15 is arranged to leave a valve seat 17 to introduce negative pressure into the negative pressure chamber 7 when the venturi negative pressure becomes larger than the load of a spring 16 thereby limitting the fuel flow rate increase. Thus the fuel supply is reduced to the flow rate required by an engine in the fully opened high speed running region during which period the venturi negative pressure is considerably high thereby supplying air fuel mixture of proper mixing ratio.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent excessive rotation likely to be made by the operator and preclude disorder of an engine by fixing caps restricting the rotation within a certain extent to the heads of screw rods of two adjusting valves, wherein the screw rods are protruding to outside the body of a carburettor. CONSTITUTION:Caps 41, 44 are fixed to the heads of screw rods of two adjusting valves, wherein the screw rods are protruding to outside the body of a gasifier 1, and these adjusting valves are parallelly installed in proximity to each other. These caps 41, 44 are provided with bosses 42, 45 protruding to outside at one side. The effective area of a fuel passage is varied when the operator turns the caps 41, 44, and thus the rate of fuel flow is changed. The rotations of these caps 41, 44 are restricted by stoppers 43, 46 fitted projectingly on the body 1, and reverse rotation is limited by other caps 44, 41 located in proximity. Accordingly the rotations of the adjusting valves are made within a certain extent, which prevents excessive rotation and restrains the rate of fuel flow within a certain extent, so that no engine disorder should occur due to excessive flow.
