    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular sensible heat processing device suitable to be applied to a data center or the like, and an air conditioning system including the device.SOLUTION: A modular sensible heat processing device 1 includes, as a structural unit, a single module unit 2 comprising a cooling coil 3 having a unit cooling capacity to process a sensible heat load and a blower 4 assembled therein and capable of blowing a unit volume of air to be processed to the cooling coil, wherein a desired number of the units can be assembled depending on a sensible heat load to be processed. The blower is a blower with a variable air volume integrally including an inverter motor, for example, a pressure ventilator. The cooling coil is a low pressure loss type. The air conditioning system includes the above modular sensible heat processing device installed in a server room as an air conditioner dedicated to cooling, wherein an installation layout can be selected from a floor model, a double-floor embedded model, a ceiling-suspension model and a wall model, and the number of the units assembled can be set and increased or decreased as desired.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently supply air-conditioning air to every floors even in a small amount of air by installing an air conditioner for four floors at the center of a ceiling in one room without using a damper unit or a duct as in the conventional way.SOLUTION: An air conditioner for four floors that is installed at the center of a ceiling in one room includes an adjustable direction adjusting blades that blow air-conditioned air to each direction of four floors in the room, an air volume adjusting vane that is provided in the upstream of each of the direction adjusting blades to adjust an air-conditioned air volume by adjustable opening, and a leading opening for leading an indoor air to a position out of an air route between the direction adjusting blade and air volume adjusting vane. Blow-out air velocity becomes high specially when the opening of the air volume adjusting vane is smaller, thereby increasing the volume of air blown out from the direction adjusting blade by sucking more leading air. Even when the opening of the air volume adjusting vane is small, an air-conditioning air flow is independently and individually controlled for each of four floors so that air-conditioned air necessary for each of the four floors may arrive at the floors.
