    • A calendar timepiece has a main plate having a guide portion and a date indicator driving wheel mounted on the main plate to undergo rotation. A date feed finger is connected to the date indicator driving wheel for rotation therewith to engage the guide portion of the main plate so that the date feed finger is displaced in a generally thickness direction of the main plate. A date indicator has a tooth portion for meshing engagement with the date feed finger when the date feed finger engages the guide portion of the main plate and is displaced in the thickness direction of the main plate so that the date indicator undergoes rotation relative to the main plate to indicate date information during rotation of the date feed finger. A day feed finger is connected to the date indicator driving wheel for rotation therewith. A day indicator is connected to the day feed finger for rotation therewith to indicate a day of the week.

    • A correcting lever is integrally provided with a correcting portion for correcting a fifth wheel, a reset portion brought into contact with a reset pin for stopping an output of a pulse signal from an IC, a return spring portion and an engaged portion and is rotatably supported about a rotary center portion (hole) to a base plate. An engagement portion of a winding stem is engaged with the engaged portion by operation of drawing the winding stem and the correcting lever is shifted against the biasing force by a return spring portion in accordance with the motion of the winding stem so that the correcting portion and the reset portion are forcibly rotated to the fifth wheel and the reset pin, respectively, about the rotary center portion (hole) to thereby perform the correcting and reset actions.

The date indicator setting portion has a first setting portion for contacting a tip of a first tooth of the date indicator, a second setting portion, and a third setting portion for contacting a tip of a second tooth of the date indicator. Each of the first, second, and third setting portions has a generally linear surface portion disposed at an angle relative to one another.

The date indicator is rotated by a day earlier than the normal feeding when set to the pre-feed allowing position. A driving lever structure includes a cam follower engaged with a month cam and is driven in response to rotation of the month cam to allow the operation lever to be pivoted between the normal feed allowing position and the pre-feed allowing position.

    • To provide a timepiece with calendar mechanism compactly constituting a drive mechanism for driving a plurality of date indicators and including the date indicators having date characters which are large and easy to see. A timepiece with calendar mechanism of the invention includes a first date indicator 512 and a second date indicator 522 for indicating a position of 1 of a date, a third date indicator 532 for indicating a position of 10 of the date and a program wheel 540 capable of respectively rotating the first date indicator 512, the second date indicator 522, the third date indicator 532 intermittently based on operation of a drive mechanism. The date can be indicated by one of first date characters of the first date indicator and one of third date characters of the third date indicator 532, and the date can be indicated by one of second date characters of the second date indicator 522 and one of the third date characters of the third date indicator 532.
