    • A method of processing an acellular tissue matrix to give a particulate acellular tissue matrix includes: cutting sheets of dry acellular tissue matrix into strips; cryofracturing the dry acellular tissue matrix strips at cryogenic temperatures; separating the resulting particles by size at cryogenic temperatures; and freeze drying the fraction of particles desired size to remove any moisture that may have been absorbed to give a dry particulate acellular tissue matrix. Rehydration of the dry particulate acellular tissue matrix may take place just prior to use. The particulate acellular tissue may be applied to a recipient site, by way of injection, spraying, layering, packing, in-casing or combinations thereof. The particulate acellular tissue may further include growth and stimulating agents selected from epidermal growth factor, fibroblast growth factor, nerve growth factor, keratinocyte growth factor, platelet derived growth factor, vasoactive intestinal peptide, stem cell factor, bone morphogetic proteins, chondrocyte growth factor and combinations thereof. Other pharmaceutically active compounds may be combined with the rehydrated particulate material including: analgesic drugs; hemostatic drugs; antibiotic drugs; local anesthetics and the like to enhance the acceptance of the implanted particulate material. The particulate material product may also be combined with stem cells selected from mesenchymal stem cells, epidermal stem cells, cartilage stem cells, hematopoietic stem cells and combinations thereof.

    • An arrow rest assembly attached to a bow is designed to be horizontally movable in order to clear the fletching on a released arrow. The arrow rest assembly incorporates a flexible positioner to position the arrow away from the handle of the bow, in line with the bow string and in clearance of the fletching. An arrow rest holds the arrow in position while the bow is drawn and the arrow is aimed. The arrow rest assembly has a triggering control which responds to the movement of the bow string after the arrow is released; such triggering control retracts the arrow rest from its extended holding position to its retracted clearing position before the fletching of the arrow passes by the arrow rest. The triggering control can be adjusted relative to the bow string in order to vary the timing of the arrow rest's retraction.

    • A modulator valve control assembly which is attached to an automatic transmission in an automotive vehicle to operate the modulator valve of the transmission in response to movement of the throttle linkage. The modulator valve modulates the shift point at which the transmission changes from one mode to another. The assembly includes a rectangular housing in which a bell crank lever is rotatably supported with one arm engaging a plunger which, in turn, is slidably disposed in a connection means for engaging the modulator valve of an automatic transmission. The other arm of the bell crank is connected through a helically coiled spring to a flexible core element of a motion transmitting remote control assembly which includes a conduit or guide means for slidably supporting the core element. The other end of the core element is attached to a threaded rod which, in turn, may be attached to the throttle linkage. The housing includes a stop against which the bell crank lever may be positioned as the core element is placed in tension to place the helically coiled spring in compression. The core element may move the bell crank against the stop and place the helically coiled spring in compression and a spacer is disposed between the guide or conduit and some portion of the core element to retain the core element in tension so that the assembly is preloaded. The assembly is then placed in connection with a transmission whereby the modulator valve places a force upon the plunger of the modulator control assembly to move the bell crank away from the stop and thereafter the connection means is tightened to prevent relative motion between the modulator assembly and the transmission housing so that the assembly is preloaded.
