    • In a magnetic recording and reproducing device having a 1ch head and a 2ch head, an azimuth recording operation is carried out on an obliquely evaporated magnetic tape. Angles θ1 and θ2 formed by a direction of a head azimuth of the 1ch head and the 2ch head and a longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape are respectively set to angles at which an output difference between a reproducing signal of a track recorded by the 1ch head and a reproducing signal of a track recorded by the 2ch head is located within three decibels. Thus, an output difference between the two magnetic heads is reduced while the loss of electromagnetic conversion is reduced.

    • A recording and playback device utilizing magnetic tape, such as a tape cassette, as a recording medium includes a magnetic head arranged to contact one side of the magnetic tape and a stabilizer arranged positioned directly opposed the magnetic head corresponding to the opposite side of the magnetic tape such that the magnetic tape move along a path interposed between the stabilizer and the magnetic head. The stabilizer includes a tape slider surface in contact with the side of the tape opposite the magnetic head contacting side. Further, the tape slider surface of the stabilizer may be formed with a recessed portion and tape surface scraper portions. According to this structure vibration of the magnetic tape in the vicinity of the magnetic head is greatly reduced such that a head servo for control of the magnetic head may accurately position the magnetic head even in devices utilizing a very small track pitch. Also read/write error, tape dropout, and the like, due to foreign matter entering the tape path, is reliably prevented. Further, space between the magnetic tape and the head is reduced and contact pressure between the head and the tape is maintained to optimize recording and or playback operations between the head and the magnetic tape.

    • A polypropylene resin composition is herein disclosed which is obtainable by blending (A) 100 parts by weight of a polypropylene resin comprising (a) 100 to 20% by weight of a homopolymer of propylene and/or a propylene copolymer containing 4% by weight or less of another olefin unit in which in a pentad fraction by .sup.13 C-NMR, �rrrr/(1-mmmm)!.times.100 is in the range of 20 to 60%, a Tm measured by a DSC is 150.degree. C. or more, and a melt enthalpy is 100 J/g or less, and (b) 0 to 80% by weight of a propylene copolymer containing 10 to 80% by weight of an olefin unit other than propylene, with (B) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of an octyltin salt of a fatty acid, an alkylenebisfatty acid amide, a fatty acid ester of a polyvalent alcohol, or a metal salt of an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid.The employment of this polypropylene resin composition permits, under a good moldability by the calender molding machine, the manufacture of films and sheets having less thickness unevenness, excellent appearance and heat resistance and such flexibility as in molded articles of a plastic polyvinyl chloride.
