摘要： A bio-implant having a screw body selectively formed with nanoporous channels structure in a spiral groove and the method of making the same are disclosed. Nanoporous channels structure formed into the spiral groove of the bio-implant is carried out by the heat treatment in vacuum firstly and anodic treatment secondly. Thereafter, bioactive material is filled into the nanoporous and deposited on the implant surface by an electro-deposition process so as to increase the bioactivity and biocompatibility of the bio-implant.

摘要： A composite bio-ceramic dental implant and fabricating method thereof are disclosed. The composite bio-ceramic is sintered at a temperature between 1000 and 1800° C. using the nearly inert bio-ceramic powder and the active bio-ceramic powder or the completely resorbable bio-ceramic powder. The bioactive bio-ceramic material is dispersed in the inert bio-ceramic material. Therefore, the composite bio-ceramic has enough mechanical strength and good bioactivity for dental implant.

摘要： A method for preparing amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) and oral care composition containing ACP prepared by the same are disclosed, wherein the method comprises the following steps: (a) cleaning and pulverizing the oyster shells; (b) sintering the oyster shells to obtain a calcium-containing powder; (c) dissolving the calcium-containing powder in water to obtain a calcium-containing solution; and (d) mixing the calcium-containing solution with a other phosphate-containing solution, to produce amorphous calcium phosphate.The method of the present invention not only can simplify the process and reduce the cost, but also can solve the problem of environment pollution resulting from wasted oyster shells. In addition, the ACP prepared in accordance with the method of the present invention further comprises some trace elements, such as strontium (Sr) and fluoride (F), which can improve dental health.

摘要： This invention is related to a kind of teeth bleaching formulation containing the vegetative enzymes extracted from plant tubers with extensively applications in cosmetic dentistry. The enzymes are susceptible to promote the decomposition (dissociation) of peroxide compounds, thus the intermediate hydroxyl free radicals are generated to turn the unpleasant stained tooth into light or colorless appearance effectively. The composition of a whitening gel may comprising 2˜50 wt % of hydrogen peroxide, 0.003˜3 wt % vegetative enzyme extract, and transferring to alkalinity approximately pH 8˜13 to achieve the high efficiency dental bleaching usage.
