SOLUTION: A retainer 34 has a tapered return slope 40 which presses and moves the retainer 34 to a temporary engagement position when the sub connector 28 is assembled into the holder 11 while the retainer 34 is in a designated position. When the sub connector is assembled while the retainer 34 remains in a designated engagement position, the retainer 34 is pushed out to a temporary engagement position outside the assembling route of the sub connector 28 by the return slope 40 during the assembling process, so assembling of the sub connector will not be interfered. SOLUTION: The earth terminal 21 is connected with the end part of an electric wire for the earth of a car, mounted on and fixed to the car body, and worked by punching a plate-formed body entirely consisting of one sheet of electroconductive material and folding or turning a part. This is composed of the electric-wire connecting part 23 and the binding part 22 of fixing member, which is coupled via the neck part 26, and which has a wider width than that of the electric-wire connecting part 23 and in which an opening 24 for mounting the fixing member is formed. The binding part 24 of the fixing member is formed by valley-folding the plate-formed body on the way, the tip end which has become the upper side part is mountain-folded downward at both sides of the neck part 26, ribs 27A, 27B are formed, and the front side of the opening 24 of the binding part 22 of the fixing member is opened. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth terminal in which workability can be improved in case a wire harness including an earth wire is removed from a disposed vehicle and a dismantling cost can be reduced, and which is low-cost and superior in production efficiency. SOLUTION: The earth terminal 11 is fabricated by folding or turning a part of that in which a plate-formed body entirely consisting of one sheet of electroconductive material is punched and worked. In the earth terminal 11, in the developed state, a through hole 15 for mounting a material for fixation is formed at a front side part 12, an electric wire connecting part to pressure- contact and fix the electric wire 16 for the earth at the rear side part 13, a communicating part 14 is formed between the front side part 12 and the rear side part 13, this communicating part 14 includes a curved-shape part which is not overlapped with the through hole 15 when the front side part 12 is turned, and it becomes a narrow-width part of easy dismantling property, and the front side part is turned and the communicating part is positioned at its lower side. SOLUTION: In the case where the slider 40 inserted into an inserting passage 24 of a female housing 20 stays in the retreat position, when fitting both housing 10 and 20, a follower pin 17 faces an inlet 45 of a cam groove 17, and then, when, pushing the slider 40 in an advanced position, both housings 10 and 20 are fitted by the cam function. The female housing 20 and the slider 40 are formed in different colors, and a confirming window 65 is opened in a cover part 23 being an outer wall of the inserting passage 24. When the slider 40 stays in the retreat position, the edge part 67 of the cam groove 44 faces the whole surface of the confirming window 65, and when the slider 40 stays in front of the retreat position, a part of the cam groove 44 is set so as to face the confirming window 65. Whether the whole surface is filled up with a color different from the periphery or a different color part is chipped is discriminated by visual observation of the window 65 to confirm whether or not the slider 40 normally stays in the retreat position.

SOLUTION: In a male housing 10, a pair of follower pins 16 is provided on both upper and lower surfaces, namely at a center part in a lateral width direction in a longitudinal side, on an outer peripheral surface 12A of a hood portion 12. Simultaneously, a streak-shaped guide rib 17 is protrusively provided at a base position of the follower pin 16 in a back-and-forth direction, and female housings 20, 50 are provided with guide grooves 32, 54 capable of receiving the guide rib. The guide rib 17 is provided at the base position of the follower pin 16 in the hood portion 12. Therefore, while a problem that a fitting surface of the male housing 20 and female housings 20, 50 is tilted at the time of fitting is prevented, the male housing 10 is allowed to be shared, and simplifying of manufacturing process and reducing the cost are enabled.

SOLUTION: The stud bolt 8 is insert-molded and fixed on a synthetic resin lid 4. The stud bolt 8 is covered with one hole part 15 of a terminal part 7, and after that, covered with a harness part 12 and with a flanged insulating sleeve 11b in this order. The stud bolt 8 and a nut 9, and the terminal part 7 and the harness part 12 are electrically insulated by the flanged insulating sleeve 11b, then the nut 9 is tightened to the stud bolt 8 and engaged with each other. The other hole part 14 of the terminal part 7 and a bushing 5 are engaged with each other, and an electrode pole 3, the bushing 5 and the engagement part of the hole part 14 are welded to each other with a burner to be electrically connected.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the installation workability of the current sensor. SOLUTION: The battery terminal 2 is installed at the top end of a harness 4. A holder 8 is installed on the harness 4 at a place separate from the battery terminal 2. A current sensor 12 is delivered to the connection site of the battery B separate from the terminal unit TU that is structured as above. The current sensor 12 is inserted through the battery terminal 2 on the site and connected with the holder 8. As this connection work is done at a separate position from the battery B, there are no obstacles of this installation and hence the installation work is done smoothly.

SOLUTION: When a holder 20 is assembled in a male housing 10 (fixed side), a female housing 40 (movable housing) is displaced in the direction perpendicular to the assembling direction by the engagement of cam grooves 23a and 23b and cam pins 41a and 41b, to be displaced to a connecting position, whereby both terminal fittings 18 and 50 are connected. Here, though the force against the displacement of the female housing 40 and the assembling of the holder 20 is produced by the friction between the terminal fittings 18 and 50, the increase of the operating force in the assembling direction to be applied to the holder 20 is unnecessary, because the action of the cams by the cam grooves 23a and 23b is applied in the direction oblique to the assembling direction. This structure dispenses with an independent manual operating member as a means for reducing the assembling operation force.
