    • A thermoplastic resin composition which is composed mainly of a crystalline polypropylene and, with respect to the properties, can satisfy the impact strength and rigidity required of materials of automobile interior furnishings and, as compared with conventional ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber compositions, has a higher fluidity and a better balance between the impact strength and the rigidity and, with respect to injection moldability, has a short molding cycle and a good surface quality; and products of injection molding thereof, particularly for use as automobile interior furnishings. The composition comprises a particular crystalline polypropylene (A), at least one member selected among particular ethylene-butene-1 copolymer rubbers (B), particular ethylene-propylene copolymer rubbers (C) and particular rubbers (D) containing vinyl aromatic compounds, talc (E), and, if necessary, a fibrous magnesium oxysulfate (E) in particular proportions, and has a melt flow index (JIS K-6758, at 230 DEG C) of 25 to 35 g/10 min and a bending modulus of elasticity at 23 DEG C of not less than 20000 kg/cm . The crystalline polyproplene (A) is the following one (i or ii). i) A crystalline ethylene-propylene copolymer wherein a propylene homopolymer portion as a first segment has a Q value, which is the ratio of the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) to the number-average molecular weight (Mn) as measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), of 3 to 5, an isotactic pentad fraction of not less than 0.98 as determined by (C-NMR) spectrometry, and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.9 to 1.1 dl/g as measured in tetralin at 135 DEG C and an ethylene-propylene random copolymer portion as a second segment has an intrinsic viscosity of 4.5 to 5.5 dl/g as measured in tetralin at 135 DEG C and a wt.% ratio of ethylene to propylene of 25:75 to 35:65. ii) A mixture of the crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer (i) with a particular crystalline propylene homopolymer.

    • Propylene-ethylene copolymer compositions excellent in moldability and well-balanced among rigidity, tenacity, impact resistance, and so on. Specifically, a propylene-ethylene copolymer composition having a melt flow rate of 10 to 300 g/10 min, which is prepared through the polymerization step (I) of polymerizing propylene in the presence of a catalyst for highly stereoregular polymerization and hydrogen to produce 60 to 95 % by weight (based on the whole polymer) of a propylene polymer having a melt flow rate (ASTM D-1238) of 100 to 1000 g/10 min and a ratio (Cf) of the integrated amount of a propylene polymer dissolved in o-dichlorobenzene over a temperature range of lower than 112 DEG C to that over a temperature range of 112 DEG C and above of 0.5 or below as determined by measuring the amounts of the propylene polymers dissolved in o-dichlorobenzene at each temperature while raising the temperature of o-dichlorobenzene continuously or stepwise, the ratio (Cf) being an indication of the intramolecular stereoregularity and molecular weight distribution of the polymer, and the polymerization step (II) of adding propylene and ethylene to the propylene polymer produced in the step (I) in such amounts that the ethylene content falls within a range of 30 to 80 % by weight and conducting polymerization to produce 5 to 40 % by weight (based on the whole polymer) of an ethylene-propylene copolymer; and another propylene-ethylene copolymer composition comprising the above composition and an alpha -crystal and/or beta -crystal nucleating agent.
