摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp and specify a correspondence of an improper part in a signal-recording area and a position in a circumferential direction of an information-recording medium, by making a state of the read signal-recording area correspond in position to an identification recording information. SOLUTION: An optical disk 1 has a signal-recording area SR and an identification information-recording area IR. The area SR has information signals SRI, and an identification information IRI which can be seen by an inspector is recorded in the area IR. An inspection apparatus 110 inspects a state of the area SR of the disk 1 while making the area correspond in position to the information IRI. The disk 1 is relatively rotated by a motor 2. A detecting means 50 of a thread mechanism 5 reads the area SR of the relatively rotated disk 1 and the information IRI of the area IR. A control means 100 makes the state of the area SR read by the means 50 correspond positionally to the information IRI, thereby obtaining a correspondence of an improper part included in the state of the area SR and a position in a circumferential direction of the disk 1.

Then, the disk substrates 21 and 22 are stuck each other by an adhesive 23 making signal recording surfaces 21c and 22c sides sticking surfaces so that respective answering marks of marks 21E1 -21E4 and marks 22E2 -22E4 formed on the disk substrates 21 and 22 match with each other. In such a case, since the marks 21E1 -21E4 and the marks 22E1 -22E4 are recorded, and they are formed on a stamper, the complexity that the marks are formed whenever the disk substrates 21 and 22 are formed is evaded.
