    • PURPOSE:To enhance the cooling efficiency by a method wherein an inner pipe for a high-temperature liquid is provided at the bottom portion of a finned outer pipe in such a manner as to be immersed in working liquid, and the space between the inner and outer pipes is decompressed and filled with the working liquid, in a radiator for cooling a high-temperature gas or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a high temperature gas is flowed into an inner pipe 4, a working fluid 7 present in the proximity of the inner pipe 4 or the working fluid 7 fed to the upper portion of the inner pipe 4 by the capillary action of a wick 5 is heated. Since the interior of an outer pipe 6 is reduced in pressure, the working fluid 7 boils and evaporates at a low temperature, and the resulting vapor condenses into liquid on the inside surface of the outer pipe 6 and returns to the bottom portion of the outer pipe 6. The heat released at the time of condensation is radiated into the air through fins 8. Accordingly, with a simple structure, it is possible to prevent carbon and the like from depositing on the parts of path and to enhance the cooling efficiency.
