摘要： The present invention relates to an image encoding/decoding method and device using coefficients of an adaptive interpolation filter. The image encoding device of the present invention comprises: a coefficient calculator for calculating coefficients of an adaptive interpolation filter of a current frame; an image encoder for interpolating a reference frame by using the coefficients of the adaptive interpolation filter, and for encoding the current frame by using the interpolated reference frame; a filter flag encoder for generating and encoding a flag with/without a coefficient inserted as a filter flag, based on the coefficient of the adaptive interpolation filter of the current frame; a coefficient encoder for encoding the coefficient of the adaptive interpolation filter of the current frame, if the flag with a coefficient inserted is the filter flag; and a bit-stream generator for generating and outputting a bit stream, the bit stream including the encoded current frame, the encoded filter flag and additionally the coefficient of the adaptive interpolation filter of the encoded current frame. According to the present invention, encoding efficiency or compression efficiency can be improved by reducing a bit amount for the adaptively determined coefficient of a filter, while encoding an image through the adaptive determination of the coefficient of an interpolation filter.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for generating a reference frame, and to a method and to an apparatus for image encoding/decoding using same. The apparatus for generating a reference frame according to the present invention comprises: an interpolation unit for interpolating a reference frame by fractional pixel units; a virtual encoding unit for determining a block mode of the present frame and a motion vector according to the block mode by using the interpolated reference frame; an offset calculation unit for calculating an offset for each pixel of the interpolated reference frame by using the block mode and the motion vector; and an offset adding unit for adding offsets for each pixel to each pixel of the interpolated reference frame to generate an offset interpolated reference frame. The present invention adds the offset calculated in accordance with the block mode to the reference frame for inter-prediction to make the reference frame to be used in a motion estimation and compensation similar to the present frame to be encoded, thereby improving the accuracy of prediction, and thus improving encoding efficiency and compression efficiency.

摘要： The present invention relates to a high-resolution image encoding / decoding method and device. Provided is an image encoding method wherein the current block is predicted and a prediction block is generated, and a subtraction operation is carried out on the current block and the predicted block thereby generating a residual block, the conversion and quantization types are determined in accordance with the block type of the current block, the residual block is converted and quantized in accordance with the determined conversion and quantization types, and the converted and quantized residual block is encoded. The present invention makes it possible to carry out encoding using a high correlation of temporally / spatially adjacent pixels which depict an image such that not only can the encoding efficiency be increased but also block distortion can be decreased and compression efficiency can be improved, and makes it possible to reduce the number of times that filtering is carried out such that the complexity of devices for encoding and decoding images can be reduced.
