      SOLUTION: This upper structure comprises: right and left jamb materials 11; head materials 12 which are laid at the upper ends of the jamb materials 11; a horizontal frame material 13 which is provided at an interval on the downside of the head material 12 and between the right and left jam materials 11; a strut material 14 which is provided between the head material 12 and the the horizontal frame material 13; and a face material 15 which is provided on at least either of front and rear surfaces over the right and left jamb materials 11, the head material 12, the horizontal frame material 13 and the strut material 14.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain firm joint construction even in a screw joint which has an enlarge gap in order to absorb phase difference by contriving the constitution of grout. CONSTITUTION:A screw joint is so formed that a pair of steel bars 1 and 1a and a coupler 4 are screwed to each other, and a gap (g) between the coupler 4 and steel bars 1 and 1a is enlarged in comparison with the conventional one so that phase difference can be absorbed. After the coupler 4 and steel bars 1 and 1a are screwed to each other, a gap between the coupler 4 and steel bars 1 and 1a is filled with grout 6 containing aggregate 5 having large-sized particle. The aggregate 5 having, for example, high elastic modulus and compressive strength such as iron grains, etc., is used. Grain size of the aggregate 5 is arranged within range of 0.2-2.0mum. With the increase of rate of grain size, rate of filling is promoted, gaps among the aggregate 5 are reduced, and compressive strength of the grout 6 is increased.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and cost performance while enhancing heat insulating performance by an external heat insulating structure. SOLUTION: A backing plate material 22 is installed on the outside of a backing column 21 by a machine screw 23, and waterproof paper 23 is stuck to a surface of this backing plate material 22, and a plate-like foamed plastic heat reserving material 25 is stuck from above it. A fastening metal fitting 28 is applied to a surface of the foamed plastic heat reserving material 25 through a high strength support plate 27, and a machine screw 29 to fix the fastening metal fitting 28 is penetrated through the foamed plastic heat reserving material 25, and is fitted in the backing plate material 22. Upper and lower solid parts of a horizontally long outer wall material 26 are engaged with an engaging piece part of the fastening metal fitting 28, and the outer wall material 26 is stuck to the surface side of the foaming plastic heat reserving material 25 through the fastening metal fitting 28. Compression strength of the foamed plastic heat reserving material 25 is set not less than 0.8kgf/cm and the area of the high strength support plate 27 is set to 25 to 150cm so that this external heat insulating structure can endure a wind pressure load.
