摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the size of an existing pipe without affecting a ground surface when the existing pipe is replaced with a new one by increasing the diameter of the existing underground pipe and inserting the new pipe into it, and charge filling material into clearances between the existing pipe and the new pipe without affecting the new pipe at all. CONSTITUTION:Lower half part grooves 5a are formed in the inner surface of the lower half part of an existing pipe, and upper half part grooves 5b shallow than the lower half part grooves 5a are formed in the inner surface of the upper half part of it in longitudinal direction of it. Also a diameter increasing block with a dia. increasing part to increase the dia. of pipe gradually from the linear upper end to the bottom is propelled in the existing pipe to break the lower half part groove 5a parts. By this, the lower half part of the existing pipe is deformed to increase dia. preferentially to the others. Then a new pipe is inserted into the existing pipe and, finally, filling material 7 is charged into clearances between the existing pipe and the new pipe.

Further, while the supporter 27 is brought into contact with the surface of the placed concrete to support a hopper device, the leg 30 is extended. And filler material is filled into an area where concrete has not been placed so that the leg 30 is extended on the side of area where concrete has been placed to jack up the body 9. By this method, the hopper device can be easily stepped up as concrete is placed.

The temporary receiving structure is removed. The common use of the existing structure during construction period can thus be permitted.
