摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely connect a pile to a column. SOLUTION: This pile head connection metal plate 3 is formed so as to be fixed to a pile head when a member such as a column is connected to the pile head. The metal piece comprises a body part 3a formed of a steel material fixedly welded to the pile head and bolts 10 buried in the upper surface of the body part for tightening the member. A connection piece for connecting a wire 13 is formed integrally with the body part. The body part is formed in such an annular shape as to match the cross section of the pile 1, a plurality of bolts 10 are buried in the upper surface thereof, and a plurality of connection pieces 12 are installed projectingly around the periphery of the body part, or the body part is formed in a strip shape, a single bolt is buried in the upper surface thereof, and the connection pieces are installed at one end of the body part.

SOLUTION: A column 2 of a steel-framed building is provided with gusset plates in the desired height positions on both front and rear sides of a web face 2b. 摘要： PURPOSE: To embody high damping properties of a building by constituting a building with girders and beams and floor joists having a complex structure which comprises a steel pipe concrete post and structural steel and concrete. CONSTITUTION: Posts 2 of a high damping building 1 consist of a square-shaped steel pipe and concrete placed in a the pipe, thereby constitutine a ≃illing steel pipe' concrete post. Then, girders 3 and beams 4 are designed in steel concrete complex structure wherein concrete is placed in H shape or more precisely between its flanges and web. Then, floor joists 5 consist of a steel- made square pipe and concrete placed inside the pipe. A grating 6 is installed on the floor joists 6, thereby constituting a floor. An H steel compound pier 7, which supports the lower part of the girders 3, are installed to the central part of the girders 3. Each structural body forms a structural steel concrete complex body wherein structural steel and concrete are integrated in one piece, thereby providing higher rigidity compared with structural steel structure. This construction excels in damping properties and further enhances damping properties to a more satisfactory extent by supporting the lower part of the girders 3 with the compound pier 7.

CONSTITUTION:A rotary type damping device 11 is connected between two sub structures 6 and 9, and a damping device body 13 is operated by movement of a wire 12 caused by horizontal directional relative movement of both the sub structures. Vibration of the sub structure 9 to the sub structure 6 is detected, and energy is absorbed. A switching means 14 to switch separation and connection from/to a part opposed to the sub structure 6 is arranged in brace installing prescribed positions of vertical members 4 of mega columns 2. SOLUTION: There is provided a structure for installing the pedestal 3 which is formed of a precast concrete slab and serves as a pedestal for installing equipment thereon. Then, the lower flange of the H beam is fixed to the floor or the upper flange of the same is fixed to the pedestal by means of an adhesive, or both the flanges are fixed to the floor and the pedestal, respectively. Thereby, when a shape of the mega structure 1 is changed, an action point of damping force by a vibration energy absorbing mechanism can be moved to the top part of the increased mega structure on which vibration energy is concentrated easily.
