    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connection structure for composite construction having good workability and high joint strength with simple constitution, and to provide its construction method. SOLUTION: A column 2 of a steel-framed building is provided with gusset plates in the desired height positions on both front and rear sides of a web face 2b. A plurality of columns 2 of such constitution are spaced by a prescribed distance in X and Y directions. The adjacent columns 2 are alternately erected so that the facing faces are a flange face 2a of one column 3 and a web face 2b of the other column 4, and a beam 5 is horizontally arranged to connect these columns, thus constructing the frame structure of the steel-framed building 1. One end part 5a of the beam 5 is rigidly jointed to one column 3 with the flange face 2a as a joint face, by a fastening means, and the other end part 5b is pin-jointed to the other column 4 with the gusset plate provided at the web face 2b, as a joint part.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a pedestal which is simple in structure and has sufficient damping properties. SOLUTION: There is provided a structure for installing the pedestal 3 which is formed of a precast concrete slab and serves as a pedestal for installing equipment thereon. The structure is formed by arranging a plurality of H beams 2 on a floor side by side at intervals, rigidly connecting lower flanges 2a of the respective H beams 2 to the floor 1, and rigidly connecting upper flanges 2b of the same to the pedestal mounted thereon, to thereby bear the pedestal. According to the structure, a bracket 8 is arranged on an upper portion of each H beam, and an anchor 9 protruding from a lower surface of the pedestal is fixed to the bracket. Further, a stiffener 6 is attached to the H beam and a brace 1 is provided between the stiffeners of the adjacent H beams, respectively. Then, the lower flange of the H beam is fixed to the floor or the upper flange of the same is fixed to the pedestal by means of an adhesive, or both the flanges are fixed to the floor and the pedestal, respectively.
