摘要： Distilling tube apparatus (11) for converting salt water such as sea water into fresh water is provided. The apparatus includes a first tube (21) through which a feed stream of heated salt water (12) is caused to flow, the first tube being constructed of a porous material which is both water-vapor permeable and liquid water impermeable, which tube allows water vapor to permeate through its walls thereof when heated salt water flows therethrough, the vapor then condensing outside of the first tube upon cooling of the vapor thereat. This first tube (21) is preferably constructed of porous, expended polytetrafluoroethylene. A second tube (22) oriented in generally parallel relationship and in close proximity to the first tube is provided through which cooling water (17) is caused to flow. The cooling water is maintained at a temperature lower than that of the heated salt water, thereby resulting in a lowering of the temperature of the surroundings of the second tube and providing an enhanced driving force for distillation of the salt water. A third housing tube (23) is provided which houses both the first tube (21) and the second tube (22) within its interior. This housing tube has a plurality of spaced apart openings (24) in the wall thereof to permit fresh water which has condensed externally to the first tube and within the housing tube to flow through these openings and thence outwardly of the distilling tube apparatus.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable smooth and effective transmission of the load of an upper structure to a support ground by a method wherein the length of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete pile the long term allowable support force of which is determined according to a relation formula is set to a value higher than a given length and the tip part of a pile shaft is expanded. CONSTITUTION:The length of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete expansion bottom pile is set to 5.5mm or more, and the size of the bottom of the tip thereof is increased to a value sharply higher than a shaft diameter (r) by an expansion part 2 formed at the periphery of the tip part. The height of the expansion part is regulated to a value 4.1 times or more as large as a shaft radius, the vertical height of an expansion inclination part to a value approximate 3 times as large as a shaft radius, and the radius of the expansion bottom to approximate 1.78 times as large as a shaft radius. The inclination angle of the sectional rapid change part of an expansion inclination part is limited to a range of 11 deg.26'-11 deg.30'. This constitution relieves the local stress of the sectional rapid change part and hardly generates a crack.

Mud water containing only effective mud water material can thus be recovered in an excess mud water tank 7 and the amount of waste mud water can be reduced.
